Tembang hit The Have I Told You Lately menjadi lagu penutup konser penyanyi asal Inggris yang tampil dengan pakaian dan celana hitam plus sepatu putih.

Terima kasih Mister Stewart '

WITH THAT voice, quirky style and unmistakable stage presence, Rod Stewart had Sydney in the palm of his hand as he performed at the Qantas Credit Union Arena on Wednesday night.

And it wasn’t just Sydneysiders who enjoyed the show.

His third wife Penny Lancaster, 44, was also seen snapping pictures from a private mosh pit area where she was watching the show with their two children, Aiden, four and Alastair, nine.

Family man Rod, who has eight children with five different women, even gave Aiden his own shot at the limelight, inviting the tiny tot up onstage with him for a rendition of Baby Jane.

The cute youngster looked as though he was in his element, dancing to his famous dad's music whilst wearing a little white shirt, with a waistcoat and matching trousers.

Rod meanwhile donned a white jacket with white shirt and stripy monochrome tie, which he teamed with a pair of black cigarette pants.

The Have I Told You Lately singer finished off his suave look with a pair of black and white shoes.

He later changed into a yellow suit as he sung his heart out to hits including Stay With Me, Sailing and Can’t Stop Me Now.

Fans were completely enamoured by the show with some taking to Twitter.

While one fan called the show ‘a masterclass in showbiz’ another wrote: ‘Absolutely massive show in Sydney last night ... exceeded expectations, what a Master Entertainer! Thank you Mister Stewart’

Rod kicked off his Australian tour in Perth on March 21, and went on to take it to Melbourne and Adelaide before last night’s gig in Sydney.

The show’s next stop is the Hunter Valley in New South Wales before it heads up the coast to Brisbane and then to New Zealand.
