Malang, Jawa Timur (B2B) - Stok dan harga pangan pokok di Kota Malang tergolong aman dan terkendali meskipun kota terbesar kedua di Provinsi Jawa Timur tersebut bukan wilayah produsen pangan, namun pasokan pangan jelang seperti beras dan cabai merah untuk kebutuhan akhir tahun dipasok dari beberapa kabupaten di sekitarnya.

Hal itu dikemukakan Kepala Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan Kota Malang, Sri Winarni saat mendampingi Kepala Pusat Penganekaragaman Konsumsi dan Keamanan Pangan di Badan Ketahanan Pangan (BKP) Kementeria Pertanian, Tri Agustin usai melakukan pemantauan di Pasar Besar Kota Malang pada Jumat (29/12).

Sri Winarni mengatakan beras untuk Kota Malang disuplai dari Kabupaten Malang, Blitar, Lamongan, Kediri, dan Jombang sementara cabai merah dari Kabupaten Malang, Kediri, dan Probolinggo sedangkan telur dipasok dari  Blitar; kemudian ayam dari Blitar dan Kediri.

"Kami melakukan pemantauan dan melaporkan perkembangan harga pangan, serta hambatan distribusi dan jumlah stok bersama-sama dengan instansi terkait di Kota Malang," kata Sri Winarni.

Saat ini harga pangan per kg di tingkat pengecer untuk beras medium adalah Rp10.000, telur ayam Rp23.500, cabai rawit Rp30.000, cabai merah keriting Rp32.000, cabai merah besar Rp24.000, daging ayam Rp33.000, daging sapi Rp115.000, bawang merah Rp23.000, bawang putih Rp17.000, gula pasir Rp11.000, dan minyak goreng Rp11.500.

Sri Winarni menambahkan, harga pangan pokok tersebut pada umumnya stabil bahkan turun dibanding pekan lalu kecuali beras dan daging ayam yang harganya naik namun masih dalam batas wajar. 

"Diperkirakan memasuki 2018, harga-harga pangan pokok akan lebih stabil, karena stok ditambah dan permintaan kembali normal  pasca libur hari besar keagamaan nasional atau HBKN," katanya.

It was stated by the Head of Malang City´s Agriculture and Food Security Office, Sri Winarni while accompanied to the Director of Diversification and Food Safety Center of Indonesian Agriculture Ministry, Tri Agustin after visit to the Pasar Besar traditional market in Malang city on Friday (December 29).

Mrs Winarni said rice for Malang city is supplied from several districts such as Malang, Blitar, Lamongan, Kediri, and Jombang while red chili from Malang, Kediri and Probolinggo while eggs are supplied from Blitar; then chicken from Blitar and Kediri.

"We are monitor and report fluctuations in food prices, distribution constraints, and food stocks with relevant agencies here," she said.

Currently the staple food price per kg in rupiah currency at the retailer level for medium rice 10,000, chicken egg 23,500, cayenne chlli 30,000, red curly chilli 32,000, big red chilli 24,000, chicken meat 33,000, beef 115,000, shallot 23,000, garlic 17,000, white sugar 11,000 and cooking oil 11,500.

Mrs Winarni said the staple food price is generally stable even down compared to last week except rice and chicken meat whose price rises but still within reasonable limits.

"Estimated early next year, staple food prices will be more stable after stocks are added and consumer demand returns to normal after the holiday of the national religious holidays," she said.
