It was stated by Director of Cipinang Food Station, Arief Prasetyo; and big rice traders Nellys Sukidi and Dewa Hidayat who ensure the rice price in Cipinang is stable and under control.

Prasetyo said prices were stable at around 8,050 rupiah with 2,000 tons of supplies per day, while rice stocks reached 49,000 tons or were still safe.

Hidayat said the average medium rice price is 7,900 rupiah per kg, and the highest price for consumers 8,100 rupiah per kg, "not exceeding the price set by the government."

Sukidi acknowledged that the price of medium rice tends to be stable as supply is supported by many rice mills in Central Java province, especially from Sragen district.
