Jakarta (B2B) - Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) terus berupaya meningkatkan pemberdayaan potensi hasil kelautan, dan mengembangkan sektor perikanan agar mampu memberikan kontribusi maksimal bagi perekonomian nasional.
Guna mewujudkan hal itu, Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) menggandeng Induk Koperasi Unit Desa (Inkud) melalui nota kesepahaman (MoU) yang ditandatangani oleh Direktur Jenderal Kelautan, Pesisir dan Pulau-pulau kecil (KP3K) Sudirman Sa´ad dengan Ketua Umum Inkud, Pahlevi Pangerang.
"Inkud didukung oleh tujuh ribu koperasi di seluruh Indonesia dan KKP sedang mengembangkan program yang akan langsung bersentuhan dengan masyarakat, kata Sudirman Sa´ad di KKP, Jakarta, Rabu (13/11).
Menurut Sudirman, melalui nota kesepahaman tersebut, KKP berharap Inkud dapat mendukung upaya merangkul seluruh kelompok nelayan, dan petani tambak untuk bergabung menjadi anggota koperasi sehingga dapat meningkatkan kegiatan usaha dan pendapatan mereka.
"Peluang usaha koperasi di sektor perikanan tangkap dan budidaya masih terbuka luas, seiring besarnya potensi kelautan dan perikanan yang dimiliki oleh Indonesia," ungkap Dirjen KP3K.
Ketua Umum Inkud, Pahlevi Pangerang menyambut positif kerja sama KKP dan Inkud, sehingga koperasi di berbagai daerah mampu memanfaatkan peluang usaha di sektor kelautan dan perikanan.
"Kerja sama ini sangat bagus dan bermanfaat bagi koperasi, yang diharapkan menjadi entitas usaha yang mampu mensejahterakan anggotanya. Ke depan, kami akan merangkul dan mengajak kelompok-kelompok nelayan atau petani tambak yang belum menjadi anggota koperasi untuk bergabung," kata Pahlevi.
Jakarta (B2B) - The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) seek to increase the potential of Indonesia´s marine and fisheries sector so as to give the maximum contribution to the national economy.
To realize it, KKP make cooperation with National Federation of Rural Co-operative (Inkud) through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), signed by the Director General of Marine, Coastal and Small Islands (KP3K) Sudirman Sa´ad and Inkud Chairman, Pahlevi Pangerang.
"Inkud supported by seven thousand co-operatives across Indonesia and is developing KKP program, which will be in direct contact with the public," Sudirman Sa´ad said in KKP office, Jakarta, Wednesday (13/11).
According to Sa´ad, through the memorandum of understanding, KKP expects Inkud can support efforts to embrace the whole group of fishermen and fishpond farmers to join the co-operative, so as to enhance their business operations and revenue.
"Opportunities co-operative effort in the fishing sector, and aquaculture is still wide open, as the magnitude of marine potentials and fisheries owned by Indonesia," he said.
Inkud Chairman, Pahlevi Pangerang positively welcomes cooperation with the KKP, so co-operatives in various regions able to take advantage of business opportunities in the marine and fisheries sector.
"This partnership is very good and beneficial to the co-operatives, which is expecting to be a business entity that is able to prosper its members. Going forward, we will embrace and encourage groups of fishermen or fishpond farmers who are not yet members to join the co-operative," Pangerang said.
