Jakarta (B2B) - Bank Indonesia (BI) mencatat cadangan devisa Indonesia pada Februari 2014 mencapai US$102,74 miliar, meningkat US$2,09 miliar dari posisi akhir Januari 2014 sebesar US$100,65 miliar.

Direktur Eksekutif Departemen Komunikasi BI Tirta Segara mengungkapkan kondisi cadangan devisa Februari 2014 dapat membiayai 5,9 bulan impor atau 5,7 bulan impor.

Menurutnya, pembayaran utang luar negeri pemerintah berada di atas standar kecukupan internasional sekitar 3 bulan impor.

"Kini akumulasi cadangan devisa tersebut mampu mendukung ketahanan sektor eksternal dan menjaga kesinambungan pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia ke depan,"
ungkapnya, Jumat (7/3).


Jakarta (B2B) - Bank Indonesia (BI) said the country's foreign exchange reserves rose US$2.09 billion to US$102.74 billion by the end of February this year.

Communication director of BI Tirta Segara said in a statement the foreign exchange reserves were enough to finance 5.9 months of imports and installments of the government's foreign debts.

The import financing capacity is still above the international adequacy standard of three months.

BI said the accumulation of the foreign exchange reserves could sustain the Indonesia's economic growth.
