Manchester (B2B) - Mantan pemain timnas Italia Attilio Lombardo memimpin eksodus para staf Manchester City asal Italia, demikian klub ini mengonfirmasikan soal tersebut, Kamis.
Menyusul pemecatan manajer Roberto Mancini belum lama pekan ini dan hengkangnya sang asisten David Platt, lima orang anggota tim pelatih Mancini juga pergi meninggalkan City.
Lombardo yang menjadi pelatih tim cadangan City, bergabung dengan spesialis pertahanan Angelo Gregucci, Ivan Carminati, Fausto Salsano dan Massimo Battara meninggalkan juara liga 2012 ini.
"Kami berterimakasih kepada mereka atas sumbangannya untuk Manchester City semenjak mereka datang dan semoga mereka baik-baik saja dengan masa depan karirnya," umum City seperti dilansir Yahoo News!
Manchester - Former Italy international Attilio Lombardo led an exodus of Italian backroom staff from Manchester City, the club confirmed Thursday.
Following the sacking of manager Roberto Mancini earlier this week and the subsequent departure of first-team coach David Platt, five more members of Mancini's backroom staff have now gone.
Reserve team boss Lombardo has been joined by defensive specialist Angelo Gregucci, Ivan Carminati, Fausto Salsano and Massimo Battara in leaving the 2012 league champions.
"We thank them for their contribution to Manchester City since their arrival and wish them well with their future careers," said a club statement.
