Wasit Republik Ceko, Pavel Kralovec tampaknya lagi senang mengeluarkan kartu kuning.
ARSENE Wenger watched one of his side's best performances of the season from the sidelines at the Allianz Arena.
Olivier Giroud opened the scoring after just three minutes and Laurent Koscielny doubled the visiting Gunners' lead five minutes from time to help Arsenal to a memorable 2-0 win against runaway Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich in their own back yard.
From top to bottom, Arsenal were a class act. Their defence kept mercurial talents such as Arjen Robben, Toni Kroos and Mario Mandzukic at bay; a midfield lacking talisman Jack Wilshere won the battle in the centre of the park; and Giroud spearheaded each dangerous Arsenal attack.
Despite this miraculous display by his side, Wenger seethed, fumed and eventually exploded with rage as he watched his chance to break his trophy drought disappear from the sidelines for yet another year.
The Czech referee Pavel Kralovec was trigger happy with the yellow cards. Booking a total of six Arsenal players during an at times ill tempered affair.
But, ultimately, after the final whistle Wenger was philosophical in defeat after watching his players put in a frankly remarkable shift.
'It's very difficult to go out of the Champions League for anybody, especially when you lose at home, you make it difficult for yourself,' he told Sky Sports 2.
'We played against one of the best teams in Europe.
'The spirit and the performance was there we had a great go.
'My regret from first game is that we conceded a cheap goal in the last five minutes when we could lose 2-1 at home.
'You can see how important that goal was tonight.'
