Manchester (B2B) - Juara bertahan Bayern Munchen membuktikan diri sebagai tim mematikan di Liga Champions setelah menang besar 3-1 dari Manchester City di Etihad Stadium dini hari tadi. Tim asuhan Pep Guardiola seperti mengajari City bermain bola dengan permainan menyerang tanpa henti untuk menguasai Grup D.
Kesalahan yang dilakukan kiper Joe Hart dimanfaatkan Franck Ribery untuk membawa tim tamu unggul pada menit ketujuh, lalu disusul dua gol berikutnya dari Thomas Mueller dan Arjen Robben pada babak kedua.
Pemain pengganti Alvaro Negredo mencetak satu gol City pada menit 80, sebelum mantan pemain City Jerome Boateng dikartumerahkan karena melanngar Yaya Toure. City yang sepuluh hari lalu menghancurkan Manchester, pantas kalah.
Kemenangan ini mengantarkan Bayern memimpin dengan enam poin, sedangkan kekalahan ini adalah kekalahan kandang pertama City di turnamen Eropa sejak 2008, hanya empat hari setelah kalah 2-3 dari Aston Villa.

City berusaha membalas, salah satunya dari sundulan Edin Dzeko nyaris menciptakan gol pada awal babak kedua, tapi kemudian Bayern segera menyerang kembali. Robben melepaskan tendangan namun membentur Vincent Kompany.
Bayern lalu menciptakan dua gol dalam kurun tiga menit.
Gol kedua tercipta pada menit 56 ketika Mueller melewati Gael Clichy untuk menyambut umpan Dante, lalu meredupkan bintang Hart, untuk mengubah keadaan menjadi 2-0.
Beberapa menit kemudian bola Fernandinho dicuri Mueller yang lalu mengumpan Robben, seperti dilansir Yahoo.

Substitute Alvaro Negredo replied in the 80th minute, before former City player Jerome Boateng saw red for a last-man foul on Yaya Toure, but on the ground where they had crushed derby rivals Manchester United just 10 days ago, City were soundly beaten.
Bayern´s victory sent them three points clear at the top of the group and consigned City to a first home defeat in Europe since 2008, four days on from an unexpected 3-2 loss at Aston Villa.
Guardiola boldly elected to play without a recognised striker, bringing Toni Kroos into his team to replace Mario Mandzukic and deploying Mueller as a ´false nine´.
Pellegrini handed Richards only his second start of the campaign at right-back, but if the hulking Englishman was selected to help muzzle Ribery, the plan quickly backfired.
A sweeping pass from Rafinha found Ribery wide on the left and he brought the ball down, cut inside Jesus Navas, and dispatched a fierce right-foot shot from 25 yards that beat Hart at his near post.
Dzeko headed wide during a succession of City corners early in the second period, but Bayern were soon back on the attack, with Robben seeing a shot deflect wide off Vincent Kompany.
Two goals in the space of three minutes put Bayern out of sight.
They scored their second in the 56th minute, with Mueller ghosting in behind Gael Clichy to bring down Dante´s lofted pass, evade Hart´s star jump, and tuck the ball home.
Moments later, Fernandinho was robbed on halfway by Mueller, who fed Robben, and the Dutchman streaked past Matija Nastasic before beating Hart at his near post.
