Kemenangan sensasional melawan ´Kutukan Cameron´.

Mantan bos Man United Fergie, 71, mengunyah permen mint sambil mendukung Murray.

Dia menyiksa dirinya sendiri."

ANDY Murray scraped into the Wimbledon semi-finals last night after winning a five-set thriller roared on by his mum and Sir Alex Ferguson.

Mum Judy, 53, punched the air with joy while his girlfriend Kim Sears, 25, and best pal Ross Hutchins, who is battling cancer, cheered him to glory over Spain’s Fernando Verdasco.

Murray now faces Polish player Jerzy Janowicz tomorrow as he bids to be the first British male to win the trophy since 1936.

Earlier he seemed to have lost the plot against Verdasco, 29.

He berated himself as a “f****** w*****” and appeared to ask God for help. But he battled back to victory in front of a noisy Centre Court crowd and thousands of fans outside on Murray Mound.

Murray, 26, said afterwards: “It was an unbelievable atmosphere towards the end. I know how good these guys are. Verdasco is a very good player.

“He’s incredibly dangerous. I can lose those matches if I don’t play my best. I came through an incredibly tough match and I found a way through and that’s all you need.”

The sensational win even defied the Curse of Cameron. Sporting Brits have suffered a year of defeats after tweets of support from the PM. Relieved Cam last night posted a pic of himself watching the win.

Murray said: “It’s nice to get messages from the Prime Minister but his tweet has no bearing on whether I win or lose.” Murray Mound was so packed security guards refused to let any more people up the steps. And the Centre Court crowd was told to shush by the umpire.

Former Man United boss Fergie, 71, chewed a mint as he cheered his pal. Earlier Fergie was greeted in the royal box by England boss Roy Hodgson, 65, with the pair sharing a clumsy hug.

Fergie also joked with former Wimbledon champ Ann Jones. And he was joined by his ex-skipper at United Nemanja Vidic and wife Ana. The couple had earlier watched Vidic’s Serbian countryman Novak Djokovic beat Tomas Berdych on Court One.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s mum Carole Middleton, in a leopard print dress, was also courtside.

After Murray’s foul-mouthed outburst BBC commentator Andrew Castle apologised to viewers but added: “You can understand the frustration Andy feels. He’s torturing himself.”

Exasperated Murray repeated his pointing-at-the sky gesture and seemed to be asking for divine help. But he revved up to win the third and fourth sets then decisively broke Verdasco in the fifth. He won 4-6, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, 7-5.

The agony and ecstasy of watching Andy Murray’s battle yesterday was etched across girlfriend Kim Sears’ face.

It was a case of Wimble-gurn as she went from grim-faced, to hand-over-mouth horror with no nails left to bite, as her boyfriend looked to be crashing out.

But the 25-year-old jumped to her feet screaming “Yes!” as he clinched the win.

However, Murray’s coach Ivan Lendl remained impassive throughout — as ever.
