DJ VERNY mengaku mengambil hikmah atas kehamilan di luar nikah yang kini menimpa dirinya, lantaran berbuat zinah dengan aktor Denny Sumargo. Tuhan memberi cobaan melalui kehamilannya, agar tidak mengulangi perbuatan zinah tersebut.
"Setelah kejadian ini saya trauma. Saya sadar berzinah adalah dosa. Insya Allah walaupun saya kerja sebagai DJ, saya berusaha tidak melakukan hal ini (zinah) lagi," kata Verny di kantor Komisi Nasional Perempuan, di Menteng, Jakarta Pusat, Kamis (4/4).
Sebelumnya diberitakan, DJ Verny menuntut mantan pebasket Aspac Texmaco, Denny Sumargo untuk bertanggung jawab atas perbuatannya sehingga menyebabkan dirinya hamil.
"Kalau memang jantan, Denny harus mau bertanggung jawab, jadi aib keluarga kalau saya tidak menikah," kata Verny di kantor Sentra Pelayanan Kepolisian Terpadu (SPKT) Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta Selatan, Rabu (27/3).
Verny mengakui apabila sebulan lalu sempat terjadi cekcok mulut dengan mantan kekasihnya, Denny Sumargo. Perseteruan itu dipicu adanya orang ketiga dalam hubungan mereka.
"Itu nanti saya ceritain. Saya masih sakit hati kalau ceritanya sekarang," ungkap Verny yang enggan mengungkapnya lebih lanjut.

"If it was a male, Denny had to want to be responsible, so the family disgrace if I was not married," said Verny, in the office of the Police Integrated Service Center (IFMS) Police, South Jakarta, Wednesday (27/3).
Verny admitted last month it had been a quarrel mouth with her former lover, Denny Sumargo. Enmity triggered by the existence of a third person in their relationship.
"I´ll tell you the details. But now I still hurt, if I tell you now," said Verny, who declined to disclose further details.
