Los Angeles (B2B) - Acara Oscar 2013 akan berisi penghargaan khusus untuk film James Bond, sekaligus memperingati 50 tahun film mata-mata Inggris tersebut.
Ada juga yang mengatakan bahwa "Skyfall" dapat menyabet satu atau dua penghargaan.di Oscar tahun ini.
"Kami sangat senang dapat membuat penghormatan untuk film-film Bond pada peringatan ke-50 tahun," kata produser Oscar Craig Zadan dan Neil Meron seperti dikutip metro.co.uk.
"Sejak film pertama "Dr.No" pada 1962, film-film 007 telah menjadi franchise yang tayang terlama sepanjang sejarah dan menjadi fenomena yang dicintai dunia."
Film James Bond pada 1964, "Goldfinger" memenangi Oscar untuk best effects dan sound effects, sementara itu tahun berikutnya "Thunderball" mendapat penghargaan untuk best effects dan special visual effects.
Los Angeles - The 85th Academy Awards will also pay a tribute to the Bond movie franchise, which is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary.
"Skyfall" is expected to pick up a handful of nods when the Oscar nominations are announced Thursday.
"We are very happy to include a special sequence on our show saluting the Bond films on their 50th birthday," said said show producer Craig Zadan.
