YOGA identik dengan pengaturan pernapasan dan gerakan tubuh. Olahraga seperti ini rupanya sudah menyita perhatian kalangan artis dan penyanyi Indonesia. Sebut saja pedangdut Iis Dahlia yang mulai menggemarinya.
“Memang saya mulai rajin pillates dan yoga. Pillates untuk kelenturan tubuh, sedangkan yoga mengatur pernapasan. Maklum, kan saya penyanyi jadi harus menjaga kualitas suara,” kata Iis Dahlia.
Meski baru menekuni beberapa bulan ini, penyanyi berkumis tipis ini sudah mendapatkan manfaatnya walupun belum maksimal. Dalam seminggu ia bisa rutin 2-3 kali latihan dengan instruktur.
“Badan saya agak enak, jarang lemas lagi. Suara juga makin terkontrol,” imbuhnya.
Untuk yoga wajah, Iis malah belum mengerti betul. Ia baru menyadari yoga wajah juga ada. Namun ia belum tertarik untuk mencobanya, dengan alasan sedang mencari waktu yang tepat.
YOGA is identical to regulating your breathing through exercise of the body. This kind of exercise has drawn the attention of many Indonesian artists and singers. To name one, dangdut singer Iis Dahlia, who has just begun enjoying it.
“Indeed I have started doing pilates and yoga exercises. Pilates exercise for flexing your body, while yoga to regulate your breathing. Of course, this is because I’m a singer, therefore I have to maintain the quality of my voice,” Iis Dahlia said.
Although I’ve just begun doing these exercises a few months ago, this singer with the thin mustache, has reaped the benefits, although not yet optimum. She can regularly do these training sessions with an instructor, 2-3 times a week.
"My body feels a bit better, I rarely feel tired anymore. My voice can also be better maintained,” she said.
As for facial yoga, Iis is still ignorant about this. She has only recently been aware that there also was a face yoga. But she hasn’t been interested yet in trying it, because she wanted to find the right time.
