SEORANG pecandu game meninggal di depan komputernya setelah bermain maraton sepanjang malam, kata polisi.
Penggemar game berusia 24 tahun, dari Thailand, ditemukan sekarat di kursi di kamarnya di Samut Songkhram, provinsi di barat daya Bangkok, menurut pihak berwenang.
Petugas polisi, Chaichana Boonrod mengatakan: "Dia kecanduan game. Dia tidak tidur tapi selalu bermain game di komputer dari malam sampai pagi."
Jenazahnya akan dikirim untuk diotopsi guna menentukan penyebab kematiannya, kata polisi seperti dikutip The Sun.
A GAMING addict died at his computer after a string of marathon all-night sessions, police said.
The 24-year-old gamer, from Thailand, was found slumped in his chair in his room in Samut Songkhram province southwest of Bangkok, according to authorities.
Police officer Chaichana Boonrod, said: “He was addicted to games. He hardly went to bed but always played computer games from night until morning."
His body will be sent for autopsy to determine the cause of death, police said.
