Jakarta (B2B) - Guna menstabilkan harga daging sapi menjelang Ramadan dan Lebaran, pemerintah memutuskan untuk memberikan kuota impor daging sapi kepada Perum Badan Urusan Logistik (Bulog) sebanyak 3 ribu ton. Bulog juga akan mengadakan operasi pasar dengan menjual daging sapi maksimal Rp76 ribu per kilogram.
"Kuota impor daging sapi sudah ditetapkan pemerintah, kalau tidak salah sekitar 3 ribu ton kepada Bulog," kata Menteri Pertanian Suswono kepada pers seusai rapat koordinasi stabilisasi pangan di Kementerian Koordinator Perekonomian di Jakarta, Kamis (20/6).
Langkah tersebut diberikan pemerintah kepada Bulog, sebagai stabilisator harga daging sapi menjelang Ramadan dan Lebaran.
"Bulog juga mendapat tugas dari pemerintah untuk melakukan operasi pasar dengan harga maksimal di kisaran Rp76 ribu per kilogram. Harga daging sapi diharapkan dapat berangsur turun dalam waktu dekat sehingga terjangkau masyarakat," ungkap Suswono.
Suswono mengharapkan Bulog dapat melakukan operasi pasar hingga ke tingkat kelurahan, tidak hanya di pasar tradisional. "Tujuannya agar tepat sasaran dan distribusi daging sapi tersebar merata untuk mendorong penurunan harga yang rasional bagi kemampuan masyarakat."

Suswono hope Bulog to conduct market operations up to the urban village level, not only in traditional markets. "The aim for the right target and distribution of beef evenly to encourage a rational price drop for the ability of the public."
