MANCHESTER United dapat memiliki Robert Lewandowski - asalkan bersedia menebus 25,5 juta poundsterling.
Klubnya, Borussia Dortmund telah menetapkan harga yang pantas bagi strikernya untuk hengkang ke juara Liga Champions, Bayern Munich.
Itu artinya ada titik terang bagi United untuk mendapatkan striker yang paling diincar saat ini.
Tapi United tidak bisa langsung senang dengan nilai transfer tersebut, karena hanya bersedia menawar sebesar 18 juta poundsterling pada musim lalu.
Nilai Lewandowski melambung menyusul empat gol yang disarangkannya ke gawang Real Madrid di semifinal Liga Champions leg pertama.
Pemain asal Polandia, 24, yang kontraknya tersisa satu tahun di Dortmund, mengumumkan pekan lalu ia mengharapkan untuk pindah ke ´klub pilihannya´ dalam hitungan hari.
Itu diyakini Bayern tapi CEO Dortmund, Hans-Joachim Watzke mengatakan: "Robert Lewandowski pasti tidak akan ditransfer ke Bayern Munich pada 2013."
"Ini putusan final. Kami telah memberitahu Robert dan para penasihatnya. Kasus Bayern ditutup karena tidak ada penawaran tertulis."
"Saya tidak mengatakan dia pasti akan hengkang tapi dia pasti tidak akan bermain untuk Bayern pada 2013."
Namun Lewandowski bersikeras dia masih bisa bergabung dengan Bayern.
Dia berkata: "Saya tidak berpikir itu adalah keputusan definitif diambil oleh bos, saya masih berpikir itu akan berubah.."

His club Borussia Dortmund have put the blocks on an expected move to European champs Bayern Munich.
And that leaves the way open for United to land one of the game’s most in-demand strikers.
But United will not be happy at the asking price after being offered Lewandowski for just £18m last season.
His value soared following his four-goal heroics against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final first leg.
The Pole, 24, who has only a year left on his deal, announced last week he was expecting to move to a ‘club of his choice’ in a matter of days.
That was believed to be Bayern but Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke said: “Robert Lewandowski will definitely not transfer to Bayern Munich in 2013.
“This is final. We have informed Robert and his advisers. The Bayern case is closed because there was no written offer.
“I am not saying he will definitely stay but he will certainly not be playing for Bayern in 2013.”
But Lewandowski insisted he could still join Bayern.
He said: "I don´t think that´s a definitive decision taken by the president. I still think it will change."
