London (B2B) - Musim suram Manchester United meluncur menjadi krisis setelah malam ini digulingkan 0-1 di kandangnya sendiri oleh Newcastle United untuk menelan kekalahan kelima musim ini.
Gol semata wayang Yohan Cabaye pada babak kedua membuat Newcastle mencetak kemenangan pertama mereka di Old Trafford sejak 1972 dan membuat United menelan dua kekalahan kandang berturut-turut yang pertama kali sejak Mei 2002, seperti dilansir Yahoo News.
Setelah Rabu lalu kalah 0-1 dari Everton, United kini menelan kekalahan sebanyak total kekalahan di musim lalu dan tim asuhan David Moyes terpaut jauh 15 poin di bawah Arsenal yang berada di puncak klasemen.
United tampil tanpa Wayne Rooney yang terkena larangan, namun diperkuat kembali Robin van Persie setelah absen dalam empat laga. Phil Jones sempat menguji kiper tim tamu Tim Krul pada awal pertandingan.
Lima gelandang yang dipasang Newcastle telah membuat frustasi United, dan tim tamu nyaris menciptakan gol namun David de Gea dua kali sukses menepis penetrasi Mathieu Debuchy.
United meningkatkan serangan di babak kedua namun Krul sukses menghalau Javier Hernandez dan Adnan Januzaj, selain mementahkan satu sundulan dari Patrice Evra.
Newcastle mengguncang sang juara bertahan pada menit 61 setelah Moussa Sissoko memenangkan duel dengan Evra sebelum meneruskan bola kepada Cabaye yang menciptakan gol kemenangan Newcastle.
Moyes bereaksi atas gol ini dengan memasukkan Anderson dan Antonio Valencia serta Wilfried Zaha yang melakukan debutnya di liga, namun tetap tak bisa membalas gol.
Van Persie melepaskan sundulan tapi keburu dinyatakan offside, sedangkan tendangan Zaha jatuh melebar sehingga membuat pendukung Newcastle mengejek Moyes dengan kata-kata "Kamu akan dipecat pagi ini!´
United kini menempati peringkat sembilan di daftar klasemen atau 12 poin di bawah pemuncak klasemen Arsenal, sedangkan Newcastle mendaki ke peringkat enam.

United were without Wayne Rooney through suspension, but they restored Robin van Persie to their starting XI following a four-game absence with a groin strain and saw Phil Jones test visiting goalkeeper Tim Krul with an early shot.
Newcastle´s five-man midfield frustrated United though, and it was the visitors who came closest to breaking the deadlock before half-time, with David de Gea thwarting Mathieu Debuchy twice in first-half stoppage time.
United attacked the game with renewed vigour in the second period, but they saw Krul save from Javier Hernandez and Adnan Januzaj before a header from Patrice Evra hit the post.
Newcastle hit the champions with a sucker-punch in the 61st minute, with Moussa Sissoko galloping down the right flank after winning a duel with Evra before cutting the ball back for Cabaye to sweep home.
Moyes responded by introducing Anderson and Antonio Valencia and handing Wilfried Zaha a league debut from the bench, but despite sporadic late pressure, an equaliser would not come.
Van Persie had a close-range header ruled out for offside and Zaha curled narrowly wide, leaving Newcastle´s jubilant fans to taunt Moyes with crowing chants of ´You´re getting sacked in the morning!´
The dominant team of the Premier League era, United remain in ninth place in the table, 12 points below Arsenal, while Newcastle climb to sixth.
