LUIS Suarez tidak saja menciptakan trigol namun juga menyamai rekor 28 gol Robbie Fowler untuk Liverpool dalam satu musim pada laga melawan tuan rumah Cardiff City yang berkesudahan 6-3 untuk Liverpool.
Kemenangan besar ini membuat Liverpool terus mengancam Chelsea di puncak klasemen Liga Premier kini mengoleksi 65 poin atau empat poin di bawah The Blues, seperti dilansir Yahoo Sports.
Cardiff dua kali mengungguli The Reds lewat Jordan Mutch dan Fraizer Campbell masing-masing pada menit 9 dan 25.
Suarez menyamakan gol pembuka Cardiff dari Mutch itu pada menit 16, sedangkan Martin Skrtl menyamakan gol Fraizer Campbell untuk Cardiff pada menit 41.
Skrtl menciptakan gol kedua lewat sundulan sebelum Daniel Sturridge mengubah kedudukan menjadi 5-2, yang kemudian diperkecil Mutch menjadi 5-3 namun diperbesar lagi menjadi 6-3 oleh gol ketiga Suarez pada menit 90.

Suarez was the key to Liverpool´s blistering performance and the Uruguay forward now has 28 league goals this season, while Liverpool have scored 18 times in their last five matches.
Cardiff had led through Jordan Mutch and Fraizer Campbell goals, but by the time Mutch scored again in the closing stages, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer´s team were already condemned to a defeat which left them second bottom of the table and three points from safety.
Rodgers made just one change to the side that crushed Manchester United 3-0 last weekend, with Philippe Coutinho taking over on the left side of midfield from Raheem Sterling.
From Cardiff´s first piece of possession, Steven Gerrard was booked for hauling down Campbell.
