Mereka mulai terlibat pada penulisan naskah cerita petualangan agen 007 sejak 1999 melalui The World Is Not Enough.

SKYFALL screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade have confirmed that the movie will be their last James Bond.

The film, which has broken box office records for a Bond movie, marked the fifth time Purvis and Wade worked on the script for the secret agent's adventures, having started on 1999's The World Is Not Enough.

The duo, who co-wrote Skyfall alongside John Logan (Gladiator, The Last Samurai), said that they want to exit the series on a high note.

Speaking at a masterclass for the Doha Tribeca Film Festival, Wade said: "We're very happy to have done five Bond movies, I think we've gotten it to a good place.

"I know that John Logan and Sam Mendes have come up with a plot for another one, which takes the pressure off because these films take up a lot of time."

Purvis added: "We were going to stop with Quantum of Solace, but it's good to go out on a high with Skyfall."

When asked at the masterclass whether there was anything a Bond screenwriter couldn't do in a script, Purvis answered: "Time travel," while Wade added "And killing him off - although we have been tempted."
