Munchen (B2B) - Cristiano Ronaldo, striker Real Madrid, Rabu dini hari WIB ini menciptakan rekor baru gol paling banyak dalam Piala Eropa atau Liga Champions selama semusim ketika timnya menang 4-0 pada laga leg kedua semifinal turnamen ini dari Bayern Munchen.
Ronaldo mencetak gol ke-15 dan ke-16-nya musim ini untuk mengantarkan timnya ke final turnamen tersebut di Lisbon, Portugal, 24 Mei nanti setelah tim asuhan Carlo Ancelotti itu menghancurkan juara bertahan Bayern Munchen, seperti dilansir Yahoo Sports.
Dua gol dari penyerang Portugal ini membuatnya melampaui catatan rekor sebelumnya 14 gol yang dia ukir sebelumnya bersama pemain Barcelona Lionel Messi pada musim 2011-12 dan Jose Altafini dari AC Milan pada musim 1962-63.
Pemain Terbaik Dunia ini mencetak rekor baru ini hanya lewat 10 kali penampilannya di kompetisi musim ini, termasuk trigol ke gawang Galatasaray di fase grup dan empat gol ke gawang FC Copenhagen danJuventus pada kedua leg serta saat melawan Schalke 04 di babak 16 Besar.
Dia kini telah mencetak 66 gol di Liga Champions dan mendekati rekor gol terbanyak sepanjang masa Liga Champions yang dibuat mantan striker Real Madrid Raul dengan 71 gol.
Keenambelas golnya itu mengantarkan Real lolos ke final Liga Champions untuk pertama kali sejak mereka mengangkat trofi turnamen ini pada 2002 ketika Zinedine Zidane menginspirasi mereka untuk menang 2-1 dari Bayer Leverkusen di Glasgow.

Ronaldo picked up his 15th and 16th goals of the campaign to help put the Spanish side into the final in Lisbon on May 24 as Carlo Ancelotti´s side humiliated the defending champions.
The Portuguese forward´s two goals helped him eclipse the previous best of 14 in a season registered by Barcelona´s Lionel Messi in 2011-12 and Jose Altafini of AC Milan in 1962-63.
The World Player of the Year has reached the new record tally in just 10 appearances in the competition this season, his tally also including a hat-trick against Galatasaray in the group stage and braces against FC Copenhagen, Juventus and in both legs of the last-16 tie against Schalke 04. He has now scored 66 Champions League goals and is closing in on former Real Madrid striker Raul´s overall record for the most goals in the competition of 71.

They will now play either Chelsea or Atletico Madrid, who meet in the second semifinal on Wednesday at Stamford Bridge after the first leg finished 0-0.
