Perkuat Literasi, BB Pustaka Ajak Insan Pertanian BRMP Banten Aktif Menulis

Serang, Banten (B2B) - Di tengah derasnya arus informasi, kemampuan menulis dan mendokumentasikan pengetahuan menjadi senjata penting bagi kemajuan sektor pertanian.
Menjawab tantangan tersebut, Kementerian Pertanian RI (Kementan) melalui Balai Besar Perpustakaan dan Literasi Pertanian (BB Pustaka) membuat gebrakan, dengan mendorong lahirnya budaya menulis di Badan Perakitan dan Modernisasi Pertanian (BRMP) melalui kegiatan Akuisisi Pengetahuan Pertanian pada Rabu (1/4).
Kepala BB Pustaka, Eko Nugroho Dharmo Putro dalam sambutannya diwakili Ketua Tim Penerbitan Perpustakaan Pertanian, Eni Kustanti memaparkan kebijakan Pertanian Press dan mendorong para peserta untuk aktif menulis.
Menteri Pertanian RI (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman terus mendorong eksplorasi dan peningkatan literasi pertanian, sebagai langkah strategis untuk mempercepat swasembada pangan, modernisasi pertanian, dan mendukung petani milenial.
Kepala Badan Penyuluhan dan Pengembangan SDM Pertanian (BPPSDMP) Idha Widi Arsanti menyoroti pentingnya kolaborasi antar intansi di Kementan.
BB Pustaka
Mewakili Kepala BB Pustaka, Eko Nugroho DP, Ketua Tim Penerbitan Perpustakaan Pertanian, Eni Kustanti memaparkan kebijakan Pertanian Press dan mendorong para peserta untuk aktif menulis.
Eni juga memperkenalkan berbagai inovasi yang dikembangkan BB Pustaka, seperti Live of Agriculture Virtual Literasi (LOVE), Bincang Cerdas Literasi (BCL), dan Pustaka Bergerak (PuBer), serta menjelaskan alur penerbitan buku dan mekanisme pengurusan ISBN.
Sebagai bentuk apresiasi dan kerja sama, BB Pustaka menyerahkan cenderamata kepada BRMP Banten berupa buku karya Menteri Pertanian.
Dalam sambutannya, Plt. Kepala Balai Besar Penerapan Modernisasi Pertanian Banten, Andry Polos mengapresiasi inisiatif BB Pustaka mendorong budaya literasi dan publikasi pertanian.
Dia juga menyampaikan bahwa Perpustakaan BRMP Banten telah terakreditasi A, meskipun masih menghadapi keterbatasan tenaga fungsional perpustakaan.
Andry mengapresiasi BRMP Banten yang dinilai memiliki potensi besar dalam menghasilkan karya tulis melalui pertanian press, didukung oleh tenaga fungsional teknis yang ada.
Selanjutnya dia berharap terkait peningkatan produktivitas padi varietas Arkansas yang saat ini masih berada pada kisaran 8,5 ton per hektare dari target 10 ton.
“Kondisi iklim Banten yang relatif panas dan kering diharapkan dapat mendukung peningkatan produktivitas tersebut. Banten bersama Bali juga termasuk wilayah LTT dengan indikator hijau,” ujarnya.
Pertanian Press
Memasuki sesi inti, para narasumber dari Tim Penerbitan BB Pustaka menyampaikan materi terkait penerbitan di Pertanian Press yang menekankan pentingnya akuisisi naskah sebagai upaya transformasi pengetahuan dari tersirat menjadi tersurat.
Narasumber lainnya menjelaskan tentang jenis dan mekanisme pengajuan naskah, pengajuan ISBN, penerbitan berkala dan strategi penyebarluasan publikasi melalui berbagai media termasuk media sosial.
Sesi diskusi berlangsung aktif dan interaktif. Berbagai pertanyaan diajukan peserta, antara lain terkait akreditasi publikasi, penggunaan data penelitian, mekanisme review, hingga hak cipta.
Dijelaskan bahwa terbitan Pertanian Press merupakan ilmiah populer sehingga tidak terakreditasi seperti jurnal ilmiah, dengan proses review menggunakan sistem blind review dan estimasi waktu sekitar empat minggu.
Menurut salah satu peserta, Abdul Hafi mengatakan bahwa acara ini sangat baik karena membuka pemikiran baru.
Diharapkan teman-teman di BRMP Banten bisa menyalurkan ide kretifitasnya dalam bentuk tulisan, acara ini juga sangat bagus karena memberikan semua penjelasan tentang bagaimana cara berkomunikasi, menyiapkan komunikasi dan lain sebagainya," katanya.
Melalui kegiatan ini, BB Pustaka berharap dapat mendorong peningkatan minat dan kemampuan menulis di kalangan insan pertanian, sekaligus memperkuat diseminasi pengetahuan melalui berbagai media publikasi. [shinta/timhumas bbpustaka]

Indonesian Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman stated that the government´s commitment to developing agriculture, especially in the development of advanced, independent and modern agricultural human resources.
“The goal is to increase the income of farming families and ensure national food security. Farmer regeneration is a commitment that we must immediately realize," Minister Sulaiman said.
He stated that increasing farmers´ knowledge and skills in implementing climate smart agriculture, reducing the risk of crop failure, reducing the greenhouse gas effect and increasing farmers´ income in irrigated areas and swamp areas.
He reminded about the important role of vocational education, to produce millennial farmers who have an entrepreneurial spirit.
"Through vocational education, we connect campuses with industry so that Polbangtan graduates meet their needs and are ready for new things," Sulaiman said.
