Jakarta (B2B) - Protes Amerika Serikat (AS) terhadap kebijakan impor hortikultura Indonesia masih berlangsung dalam rapat konsultasi di Organisasi Perdagangan Dunia (WTO), yang diperkirakan berlangsung hingga dua pekan mendatang di Jenewa, Swiss.
"Sedang dibahas pada rapat konsultasi WTO di Jenewa. Kita tunggu saja," kata Menteri Perdagangan, Gita Wirjawan kepada pers di kantor presiden, Jumat sore (1/3).
Menurutnya, Indonesia saat ini sedang menantikan keputusan WTO, setelah kebijakan impor hortikultura Indonesia diprotes oleh pemerintah AS.
Bagaimana dengan daging impor? "Kalau daging belum ada protes resmi dari mereka tapi mereka menginginkan kita ada keterbukaan bisa impor daging dari AS," ungkap Gita.
