Tegal (B2B) - Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) mengharapkan para petani hortikultura meningkatkan kualitas produk dan produktivitas sayur dan buah. Pasalnya, SBY melihat peluang ekspor hortikultura masih terbuka terutama di Singapura.
“Singapura ini paling dekat dengan kita, karena itu peluang ekspor ke negara tersebut sangat besar,” kata Presiden SBY menjawab pertanyaan para petani, peternak dan masyarakat pada acara temu wicara di lereng Gunung Slamet, Desa Batumirah, Kecamatan Bojong, Kabupaten Tegal pada Kamis (21/2).
Menteri Pertanian, Suswono menambahkan, Indonesia memiliki peluang meningkatkan ekspor sayur-mayur ke Singapura, yang saat ini baru mencapai 4% dari seluruh kebutuhan impor Singapura sekitar 487.336 ton per tahun. Tantangan utamanya, aturan ketat produk impor yang diterapkan Singapura, sehingga pemerintah berupaya agar para petani dapat meningkatkan penerapan Good Agricultural Practises (GAP).
“Produk sayur-mayur Indonesia memiliki daya saing di Singapura, yang menjadi tantangan bagi para petani. Singapura itu menerapkan syarat ketat terhadap produk impor. Untuk itu pemerintah berupaya agar para petani terus meningkatkan penerapan GAP atau Good Agricultural Practices,” kata Menteri Pertanian Suswono yang mendampingi Presiden SBY di tempat yang sama.
Usai melakukan temu wicara, SBY memberikan bantuan antara lain kepada Kelompok Tani Gemah Ripah sebesar Rp100 juta, Kelompok Tani Sikrama sebesar Rp100 juta, Lembaga Masyarakat Daerah Hutan Rp300 juta, Wisata Kesehatan Jamu sebesar Rp150 juta. Kemudian kepada Puskesmas Adiwerna Rp150 juta, Madrasah Chairul Huda Rp100 juta, SD Dukuh Benda Rp100 juta serta Kelompok Tani Ternak Sido Makmur Rp100 juta.
Setelah itu, SBY beserta Mentan melaksanakan panen wortel di lahan Gapoktan Budi Luhur, Desa Tuwel, dan meninjau peternakan sapi Sido Makmur di Desa Kedawung, Kecamatan Bojong, Tegal, Jawa Tengah.

Then the Health Center Adiwerna Rp150 millions to, Rp100 millions to Madrasah Chairul Huda, SD Dukuh Benda Rp100 million and Livestock Farmers Sido Makmur Rp100 millions.
After that, the President with Minister of Agriculture implement harvest carrots in field Gapoktan Budi Luhur, Village Tuwel and review the cattle farm in the village of Sido Makmur Kedawung, District Bojong, Tegal, Central Java.
