Jakarta (B2B) - Kementerian Pertanian RI memastikan produksi beras dan jagung untuk 2018 melampaui konsumsi atau surplus, terbukti dari 48,29 juta ton produksi beras melampaui konsumsi 30,37 juta ton, begitu pula dengan produksi jagung mencapai 30,05 juta ton melampaui kebutuhan 15,56 juta ton. Sementara kedelai, meskipun produksi lebih sedikit dari konsumsi, namun kemampuan pemenuhan kebutuhan kedelai naik menjadi 34% dari 17% pada 2017.
"Pemerintah memastikan produksi beras 2018 lebih dari kebutuhan, konsumsi 30,37 juta ton sedangkan produksi 48,29 juta ton. Begitu pula dengan jagung, produksi 30,05 juta ton di atas kebutuhan hanya 15,56 juta ton," kata Dirjen Tanaman Pangan, Sumardjo Gatot Irianto kepada pers di Jakarta, Senin (1/10).
Produksi padi tertinggi atau puncak produksi 2018 terjadi pada Maret 2018 sebesar 12,42 juta ton gabah kering giling (GKG) dari luas panen 2,3 juta hektar. Sementara produksi terendah pada Januari 2018 sekitar 4,0 1 juta ton GKG dari luas panen 799.890 hektar.
Sementara produksi jagung tertinggi atau puncak produksi pada Februari 2018 mencapai 4,29 juta ton pipilan kering (PK) dari luas panen 859 ribu hektar. Produksi kedelai tertinggi 2018 pada April mencapai 116,02 ribu ton biji kering (BK) dari luas panen 82,7 ribu hektar.
"Produksi padi, jagung dan kedelai disingkat Pajale selama lima tahun terakhir meningkat, dirinci dalam hitungan per tahun untuk padi 4,07%; jagung 12,5%; dan kedelai 8,79%.

"The government ensures that 2018 rice production is more than needed, consumption is 30.37 million tons while production is 48.29 million tons. Similarly corn, production of 30.05 million tons above the need of 15.56 million tons," Director General of Food Crops, Sumardjo Gatot Irianto told the press here on Monday (October 1).
The highest rice production in 2018 in March reached 12.42 million tons of dry milled rice of harvest area of 2.3 million hectares. While the lowest production in January 2018 was around 4.0 1 million tons of dry milled grain from a harvested area of 799,890 hectares.
While the peak of corn production in February 2018 reached 4.29 million tons of dry shells of the harvested area of 859 thousand hectares. The highest soybean production in April reached 116.02 thousand tons of dry beans of harvested area of 82.7 thousand hectares.
"Production of rice, corn and soybean or Pajale for the past five years has increased, detailed in counts per year for rice 4.07%; corn 12.5%; and soybean 8.79%.
