LIGA PRIMER Inggris sekali lagi memimpin dalam hal menggelontorkan dana transfer pemain musim ini yang tercatat dua kali lipat ketimbang lima liga utama di Eropa.
Kekuatan keuangan dari klub-klub utama di Inggris diungkap oleh konsultan Prime Time Sport di konvensi global Soccerex di Manchester.
Laporan tersebut merinci bahwa klub-klub di Liga Primer menguras kas mereka hingga Rp12 triliun untuk musim ini bandingkan dengan liga Italia Serie A hanya menghabiskan dana separuhnya atau hampir Rp6 triliun.
Inilah tahun kedua berturut-turut Liga Primer melampaui belanja 1 miliar euro dengan peningkatan 14% dari pada 2014-15, sementara semua lima liga utama Eropa hanya mencatat peningkatan belanja pemain yang tidak signifikan - kecuali Ligue 1 di Prancis, seperti dilansir MailOnline.
Manchester City adalah pemboros terbesar dengan belanja pemain 145.22 juta poundsterling untuk membeli Kevin De Bruyne dan Raheem Sterling, dan tetangganya Manchester United serta Atletico Madrid menghabiskan 101,57 juta poundsterling.
Belanja pemain klub di Liga Primer terbanyak dari liga utama di Eropa dan tersebar merata di semua klub yang jauh lebih banyak dibandingkan La Liga Spanyol dan Ligue 1 Prancis.
Kontrak televisi dengan Liga Primer - jauh melebihi liga-liga utama di Eropa - sehingga memberi peluang klub papan bawah di Inggris untuk belanja pemain seperti dilakukan oleh Newcastle dan Stoke pada musim ini.
Pemboros terbesar di Liga Primer adalah Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool dan Chelsea - dengan total nilai belanja pemain 45,7% dari seluruh klub utama di Inggris.
Sementara empat pemboros terbesar di Ligue 1 hingga 82.7% dan La Liga - Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Real Madrid dan Barcelona - menggelontorkan 72,5% dari total pengeluaran di seluruh divisi utama untuk akuisisi pemain.

The financial power of the English top flight has been laid bare in a comprehensive transfer review by the Prime Time Sport consultancy released at the Soccerex global convention in Manchester.
The report details that Premier League clubs flexed their financial muscles to the tune of an eye-watering £850million in the summer with Serie A with the next highest spend at just £420.42m.
It is the second consecutive summer that Premier League spending has smashed the €1bn mark with a 14 per cent increase on 2014-15, while all the five major European leagues saw record levels of spending - except Ligue 1 in France.
Manchester City were the biggest spenders having forked out £145.22m on the the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling, with neighbours Manchester United and Atletico Madrid having each spent £101.57m.
Premier League clubs may spend the most compared to their European counterparts but it is spread throughout the league far more than the likes of La Liga and Ligue 1.
The Premier League´s television deal - dwarfing the European leagues - enable the smaller clubs to spend heavily as we saw with the likes of Newcastle and Stoke this summer.

Meanwhile Ligue 1´s four biggest spenders racked up 82.7 per cent and La Liga´s - Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Real Madrid and Barcelona - spent 72.5 per cent of the division´s overall outlay on player acquisitions.
