LIVERPOOL dinobatkan sebagai raja Eropa untuk pertama kalinya sejak 2005 setelah gol cemerlang Divock Origi dan tendangan penalti bintang Mesir Mo Salah mengalahkan Tottenham Hotspur 2-0.

LIVERPOOL have been crowned kings of Europe for the first time since 2005 after super-sub Divock Origi and Egyptian star Mo Salah hammered home to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0.
The Belgian (pictured centre, celebrating his goal), who came on as a substitute in the 60th minute, drove a low shot into the right hand corner after Spurs failed to clear a corner whipped in by James Milner on the 87th minute.
A third win over Spurs this season has landed them the biggest prize in club football for the sixth time in the club´s history (fans celebrating, bottom left), which will surely make up for the loss of the Premier League title in May to Manchester City (top left, manager Jurgen Klopp is mobbed by his players).
The all-English final was scrappy for most of the 90 minutes, with both teams playing well-below their best and struggling to string passes together despite having an equal share of possession.
The Reds had originally taken the lead through a Mo Salah penalty within the first two minutes of the Champions League Final after a questionable hand ball decision by the referee.
The Egyptian forward hammered it past Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris, who dived the right way but couldn´t stop it. At around the 20-minute mark, play was stopped when a swimsuit-clad woman invaded the pitch and ran around the players (top right) while being chased by stewards.
Wearing very little, she zigzagged past stars such Spurs´ Christian Eriksen (bottom right) before being escorted out of the stadium. Tonight marks the first time Tottenham have reached the Champions League Final in their history, while it´s Liverpool´s second final in as many years, after falling to Real Madrid in Kiev 12 months ago.
Back home, rowdy Liverpool fans scaled scaffolding outside of the city´s main train station (bottom left) and took over the streets of Merseyside. In north London, Spurs fans looked glum after the early goal (inset).
