IKATAN Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (IMM) Gorontalo menolak konser grup band Noah, yang akan digelar di Stadion 23 Januari Telaga, Minggu (9/12). Pasalnya, vokalis Noah, Ariel adalah mantan narapidana kasus asusila video porno.
Ketua Bidang Advokasi IMM Adris Patinggi menyatakan pihaknya akan menggelar aksi unjuk rasa menolak konser grup band yang dulu dikenal bernama Peterpan.
"Kehadiran Ariel, dikhawatirkan bakal berdampak negatif bagi bagi generasi muda di Gorontalo, karena yang bersangkutan telah melakukan perbuatan asusila," kata Adris melalui keterangan tertulisnya, Jumat (7/12).
"Kalau perlu kami akan memblokir jalan. Noah tidak boleh konser di Gorontalo yang dikenal dengan sebutan Serambi Madinah," katanya lagi.
MUHAMMADIYAH Student Association of Gorontalo rejects Noah’s concert to be held in 23 Januari Telaga Stadium on Sunday (9/12). Because the band’s vocalist, Ariel, is former suspect of porn video case.
Chair of Advocacy Section, Adris Patinggi, states that his association will rally a protest to reject the concert of the band previously known as Peterpan.
“Ariel’s presence is worried to bring negative impacts for youth in Gorontalo because he has committed immoral behavior,” says Adris in his written statement on Friday (7/12).
“If necessary, we will blockade the road. Noah cannot hold a concert in Gorontalo which is known as ‘Serambi Madinah’,” he says again.
