LEBIH 40 mobil terlibat tabrakan beruntun di Interstate 90 dekat Cleveland akibat musim dingin yang berbahaya.
Kecelakaan beruntun itu mengakibatkan kemacetan di jalan tol sepanjang 20 km pada Selasa (24/12) setelah salju dan es mengakibatkan kondisi mengemudi sangat berbahaya.
Kecelakaan terjadi tepat sebelum tengah hari dekat kota Painesville, sekitar 30 km sebelah timur dari Cleveland, AS, seperti dilansir Mail Online.
Beberapa polisi, pemadam kebakaran dan ambulans mendatangi tempat kejadian perkara (TKP). Tidak dilaporkan ada korban yang mengalami cedera serius.
Kanada juga dilanda cuaca buruk, mengakibatkan ribuan rumah tanpa listrik setelah badai musim dingin di wilayah Toronto.
UP TO 40 vehicles were involved in a pile-up on the Interstate 90 near Cleveland in treacherous winter conditions.
The series of accidents closed an 11-mile stretch of the road on Tuesday after snow and ice made driving conditions extremely hazardous.
The crashes took place just before noon near the city of Painesville, about 30 miles east of Cleveland.
Several police, fire and ambulance crews attended the scene. There were no reports of any serious injuries.
Canada has also been hit by severe weather, with thousands left without power following a winter storm in the Toronto area.
