BOCAH usia delapan tahun, anak kedua dari kapten pilot AirAsia QZ8501, Iriyanto 'mengira ayahnya masih bekerja', kata keluarganya.
Kerabat sang pilot tidak tega untuk memberitahu putra dari Kapten Irianto tentang kecelakaan pesawat yang tragis tersebut.

Mereka menjaga si kecil Galih di rumah dan televisi dimatikan karena mereka tidak sanggup menerima fakta memilukan tersebut.
"Saya hanya bilang kepada Galih bahwa ayahnya tidak langsung pulang ke rumah karena masih ada pekerjaan penting lain yang harus dikerjakan," kata paman si bocah, Budi Sutiono, kepada koran yang beredar di Inggris tersebut.
"Dia pikir ayahnya masih bekerja."
Fakta ini terkait dengan meninggalnya saudara Kapten Irianto akibat diabetes hanya beberapa pekan sebelum pesawat yang dipilotinya jatuh di Laut Jawa.
Kapal dan pesawat dari Badan SAR Nasional (Basarnas) telah menjelajahi Laut Jawa untuk mencari pesawat yang hilang bersama 162 penumpang akibat cuaca buruk setelah 40 menit mengudara dari Surabaya menuju Singapura.

Heartbroken relatives have been unable to tell Captain Irianto's young son the truth about what has happened to flight QZ8501, the Telegraph reports.
They are keeping little Galih indoors and televisions switched off as they cope with the devastating loss.
"I told Galih that his father will not be coming straight home because he has another job to do," the boy's uncle Budi Sutiono, told the paper.
"He thinks daddy is still at work."
It emerged that Captain Irianto's brother died from diabetes only a few weeks before the AirAsia flight plunged into the Java Sea.
Ships and planes have been scouring the water after it vanished with 162 people on board during bad weather about 40 minutes into its flight from the Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore.
