Jakarta (B2B) - Perusahaan Umum (Perum) Badan Urusan Logistik (Bulog) memastikan stok beras di gudang Bulog di seluruh Indonesia dalam status aman, atau mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pangan rakyat Indonesia hingga 4,5 bulan ke depan termasuk Idul Fitri atau Lebaran pada pertengahan Juli mendatang.

"Stok Bulog hari ini cukup untuk kebutuhan pangan lebih empat bulan ke depan atau 4,5 bulan, kalau sekarang jelang pertengahan Mei maka stoknya cukup sampai akhir September," kata Direktur Pelayanan Publik Bulog, Lely Pelitasari Soebekty kepada pers usai mengikuti rapat koordinasi dengan Menteri Pertanian RI Andi Amran Sulaiman dan Kepala Staf TNI AD, Jenderal Gatot Nurmantyo di Jakarta pada Selasa sore (12/5).

Ketika ditanya tentang jumlah stok beras Bulog, Lely enggan menjelaskan karena pihaknya terus membeli beras petani sesuai Harga Pembelian Pemerintah (HPP) yang ditetapkan melalui Instruksi Presiden (Inpres). Ketentuan HPP tersebut yang digunakan Bulog untuk memberikan perlindungan harga kepada para petani dan konsumen di seluruh Indonesia.

"HPP ditetapkan pemerintah sebagai bentuk antisipasi atau fungsi stabilisator harga beras di pasaran," kata Lely yang sigap menjawab pertanyaan wartawan.

Dia menambahkan, perbandingan jumlah cadangan beras di gudang Bulog dengan yang beredar di luar mencapai titik tertinggi, sehingga dinilai cukup untuk persediaan hingga menjelang Lebaran nanti.

""Pengalaman selama ini paling tinggi hanya 10 persen beras yang mampu diserap. Dan sekarang jumlahnya sudah ada sekitar 10 persen di Bulog. Sementara 90 persen ada di rumah tangga petani, pedagang maupun di rumah-rumah kita. Dari perkiraan itu Bulog menilai stok beras cukup sampai Lebaran," kata Lely.

Gatot Nurmantyo here on Tuesday afternoon (12/5).

While asked about the number of Bulog rice stocks, she declined to elaborate because her side continued buy rice farmers in the Government Purchase Price determined through Presidential Instruction. The provision is used Bulog to provide price protection to farmers and consumers across Indonesia.

"The purchase price set by the government as a form of anticipation or stabilizing the price of rice in the market," Mrs Soebekty said were swiftly answered questions of journalists.

She added ratio of the number of Bulog rice stocks in warehouses with circulating outside reaches its highest point, so it considered sufficient to supply until Lebaran.

"Based on experiences the highest is only 10 percent of the rice that is able to be bought. And now there are about 10 percent in Bulog. While 90 per cent in households of farmers, traders and in our homes. From that estimate, assess Bulog rice stocks sufficient until Lebaran," Mrs Soebekty said.
