"Berdasarkan pagu anggaran subsidi pupuk 2013 sesuai APBN ditetapkan sebesar Rp15,83 triliun," kata Gatot seraya memaparkan tabel tentang target dan realisai penyaluran pupuk subsidi.

Jakarta (B2B) - The Ministry of Agriculture regretted the scarcity of subsidized fertilizer issue, because it will harm the farmers. Subsidized fertilizer manufacturers are still available, even distribution was almost beyond the quota, within budget Rp15, 83 trillion during 2013.

"I´m telling the truth so that the price does not rise because it says rare, but the issue was not true," Sumarjo Gatot Irianto, director general of the infrastructure and facilities for agriculture to the press in Jakarta, today (19/12).

Irianto added that the issue is only wrong perception, because the fact is, the distribution was almost beyond the quota. But the government must abide by the provisions, before adding the allocation of subsidized fertilizer to market.

According to him, initially subsidized fertilizer distribution around 9,250 million tonnes revised to 8,611,050 tons, while the realization until mid-December 2013 reached 8,182,316 tons, or 95% of the target this year.

"Based on the budget ceiling subsidized fertilizer in 2013, state budget has been set Rp15, 83 trillion," Irianto said with a exposes the target and realization table of the distribution subsidized fertilizer.

According to him, to meet the needs of subsidized fertilizer during the growing season in December 2013, it has conducted work meeting with the House of Representatives on Wednesday last week (11/12).

"Parliament called on the government to meet the needs of farmers subsidized fertilizer as needed according to plan definitive basic needs of the farmers," Irianto said.
