Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark menjadi film utama yang puncak daftar film yang paling sering ditonton ulang, diikuti oleh film fiksi ilmiah klasik Star Wars dan Back to the Future.
Penelitian ini mengungkapkan 72% penggemar film menikmati kembali film favorit mereka dengan 63% melihat hal-hal baru dari sudut pandang masing-masing, seperti dilansir MailOnline.
48% responden membuat mereka senang, sementara 29% responden memutar ulang untuk menunjukkan bintang film maupun karakter favoritnya.
Namun gangguan gadget seperti smartphone dan media sosial juga menyebabkan kita melupakan plot film dan salah memahami film serius yang membuat penonton mengernyitkan kening.
Sekitar 65% responden lupa plot film setelah sekali menonton dengan 24% mengakui hanya butuh waktu 24 jam untuk menontonnya lagi.
Psikolog Dr Dimitrios Tsivrikos dari University College London mengatakan: "Dengan begitu banyak teknologi modern mengalihkan perhatian kita, tampaknya bahwa ketika datang untuk menonton film, kita berjuang untuk mematikan dan konsentrasi."
"Kita mungkin perlu untuk menonton kembali beberapa kali untuk memahami plot ceritanya."

MOVIE lovers typically rewatch their favourite film 29 times in their lifetime, according to research released recently.
Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark tops the list of our most regularly re-watched films, followed closely by sci-fi classic Star Wars and Back to the Future.
The study reveals 72 per cent enjoy revisiting their favourite films with 63 per cent noticing new things with each viewing.
Another 48 per cent say rewatching movies cheers them up, while 29 per cent rewatch favourites movies to introduce a loved one to them.
But modern day distractions such as buzzing smartphones and social media also cause us to forget film plots and misunderstand complicated movies.
Psychologist Dr Dimitrios Tsivrikos from University College London said: ´With so much modern technology to distract us, it seems that when it comes to watching a film, we struggle to switch off and concentrate.
´We may need to re-watch it a number of times to fully understand and appreciate it.´
