ANGGOTA keluarga Kerajaan Inggris berkumpul untuk menghadiri peringatan ulang tahun Ratu Elizabeth II ke-90 dengan sejumlah parade militer dan atraksi berkuda di Istana Windsor.

Ratu Inggris, sesungguhnya lahir pada 21 April, hadirdidampingi suaminya Pangeran Philip (Duke of Edinburgh) saat ia tiba di tempat acara mengendarai kereta kuda kerajaan.

Mengenakan gaun hijau laut dan jaket karya Angela Kelly, keluarga kerajaan tampak gembira saat ia tampil di pertunjukan meriah yang dimeriahkan oleh penampilan sederet penyanyi ternama Inggris dan menyimak narasi dari beberapa bintang film.

Ratu juga bertepuk tangan bersama saat menyaksikan sekitar 900 kuda tampil di arena, dengan Putri Anne, Pangeran Edward, Zara Tindall dan Lady Louise  Mountbatten turut hadir dalam parade.

Charles juga memberi penghormatan kepada semangat Ratu terhadap hal tentang kuda. Dia dikenal mencintai kuda dan poni sepanjang hidupnya, dan hal ini terkait dengan perannya sebagai kepala negara yang dicintai rakyatnya, seperti dilansir MailOnline.

MEMBERS of the royal family came out in force to honour the Queen at a special gala to mark her 90th birthday with a colourful display of military pomp and animals galore at Windsor Castle.

Her Majesty, who marked her actual birthday on April 21, was accompanied by her husband the Duke of Edinburgh as she arrived at the event in a horse-drawn carriage.

Wearing a sea green dress with lace overlay and matching jacket by Angela Kelly, the monarch appeared delighted with the celebrations as she took in performances by a dazzling line-up of singers and listened to narrations from some of the nation's best-loved actors.

The Queen also clapped along as she watched some 900 horses perform in the arena, with Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Zara Tindall and Lady Louise Mountbatten taking part in the parade.

Charles also paid tribute to the Queen's passion for all things equine. She has had a love for horses and ponies her whole life and away from her role as head of state is devoted to her thoroughbreds.
