Jakarta (B2B) - Gubernur Bank Indonesia (BI) Agus Martowardoyo mengakui meningkatnya produktivitas ekonomi di sektor pertanian mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional mencapai 5,18% pada kuartal II 2016 atau meningkat dari kuartal I 2016 yang hanya 4,9%.

"Tertundanya panen produk pertanian mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi yang lebih baik. Ke depan, terus diupayakan agar betul-betul konsumsi pemerintah, rumah tangga, dan investasi bisa terus berkembang," kata Agus Martowardoyo di Jakarta pada Senin (8/8).

Menurutnya, pertumbuhan produktivitas ekonomi di sisi pertanian  peran panen tertunda dan terefleksi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi pada kuartal II 2016.

Agus menambahkan tertundanya panen produk pangan tersebut merupakan faktor musiman, sehingga pertumbuhan ekonomi pada kuartal II 2016 dipandangnya lebih banyak dipengaruhi faktor musiman.

Pertumbuhan Ekonomi
Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) merilis angka pertumbuhan ekonomi pada Triwulan II 2016 terhadap Triwulan II-2015 (year on year/y-on-y) tumbuh 5,18%, meningkat dibanding Triwulan II-2015 sebesar 4,66% sementara Triwulan I-2016 mencapai 4,91%.

Deputy Bidang Neraca dan Analisis Statistik BPS, Kecuk Suhariyanto mengatakan pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia pada kuartal dua 2016 mampu tumbuh hingga 5,18% karena kontribusi dari sektor pertanian yang melampaui prediksi khususnya pergeseran musim tanam yang terjadi pada kuartal kedua 2016, dan kontribusinya cukup besar hingga 14% pada pertumbuhan ekonomi.

"Realisasi sektor pertanian melampaui ekspektasi selama ini, kemarin banyak yang berharap lima persen di kuartal pertama, tapi akhirnya cuma 4,92 persen dan dikoreksi menjadi 4,91 persen. Apa yang meleset waktu itu? Sektor pertanian," kata Kecuk Suhariyanto di Jakarta pada Jumat (5/8).

Menurutnya, sektor pertanian berperan penting mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi. Kontribusi pada Triwulan II tercatat mencapai 14,32%, termasuk dari sektor kehutanan dan perikanan.

Kecuk menambahkan, dalam periode tersebut, industri bergerak positif, baik dari sisi migas dan non migas. Secara total, industri menyumbang 21% terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.

"Ketika pertanian tumbuh pesat, industri tumbuh pesat, barang yang diperdagangkan juga menjadi banyak plus impor barang konsumsi tinggi, lumayan naik," katanya lagi.

Indonesian Statistics Agency released figures of economic growth in the second quarter 2016 to the second quarter of 2015 (year on year) reached 5.18%, which increased compared to the second quarter of 2015 of 4.66%, while the first quarter of 2016 only 4.91 %.

Deputy for Balance and Statistical Analysis, Kecuk Suhariyanto said the Indonesian economic growth in the second quarter of 2016 grew to 5.18% of the contribution of the agricultural sector over the prediction, related to the planting season in the second quarter of 2016, contributing 14% to the country´s economic growth.

"The realization of the agricultural sector in above expectations, many predicted just five percent in the first quarter, but ended up only 4.92 percent and then corrected to 4.91 percent. What was missed? The agricultural sector," he said here on Friday (Agustus 5).

According to him, the agricultural sector plays an important role fostering economic growth. Contributions in the second quarter recorded 14.32%, including from forestry and fisheries.

Suhariyanto added that the industry moves positive, both in terms of oil and non-oil. In total, the industry contributed 21% of economic growth.

"When agricultural and industrial growth, trading volume also increased plus imports of consumer goods," he said.
