Malang (B2B) - Wakil Menteri Pertanian Rusman Heriawan mengimbau para petani untuk siap mengantisipasi fenomena perubahan iklim global. Pasalnya, fenomena tersebut mengakibatkan siklus musim yang berubah-ubah dan berdampak luas pada pencapaian produksi pangan.
"Perubahan iklim global yang terjadi saat ini memicu cuaca ekstrem, seperti hujan yang tidak menentu atau musim kering yang berkepanjangan. Tentunya, hal ini sangat mengganggu produksi pertanian," kata Rusman Heriawan di Malang, Kamis (13/6).
Mantan Kepala Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) ini mengimbau kepada petani untuk proaktif mengantisipasi perubahan iklim tersebut.
"Mesti pandai menyiasatinya dengan menerapkan pola tanam yang sesuai anjuran. Jangan sungkan bertanya ke kantor dinas pertanian terdekat atau penyuluh pertanian agar mendapatkan petunjuk sehingga hasil produksi maksimal," ungkap Rusman.

Former Head of Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) has appealed to the farmers to proactively anticipate climate change.
"It must be good at work around this by implementing the recommended cropping pattern. Do not hesitate ask to the nearest agriculture office or agricultural extension in order to get instructions so that the maximum production," said Rusman.
