Jakarta (B2B) - Menjelang bulan Ramadan dan Lebaran, harga kebutuhan pokok mulai merangkak naik lantaran faktor psikologis konsumen yang terpengaruh kebiasaan warga memborong sembilan bahan pokok padahal pasokannya memadai.

Dari hasil pantauan B2B di Pasar Induk Kramat Jati, Jakarta Timur hari ini, harga bawang merah super Rp26 ribu hingga Rp28 ribu per kg, dan harga bawang merah medium Rp18 ribu per kg.

"Biasanya masyarakat langsung memborong agar tidak kehabisan stok atau khawatir harganya melambung padahal pasokan cukup, itu karena faktor psikologis," kata Direktur Jenderal Hortikultura di Kementerian Pertanian RI, Spudnik Sujono di Pasar Induk Kramat Jati, Jakarta Timur pada Sabtu pagi (13/6).

Spudnik yang baru menjabat direktur jenderal menggantikan Ibrahim Hasanudin berada di pasar induk tersebut terkait operasi pasar bawang merah, kerjasama Kementerian Pertanian dan Badan Urusan Logistik (Bulog).

Menurutnya, operasi pasar ini bertujuan mengatasi disparitas harga bawang merah di pasaran dengan harga petani di sentra bawang merah seperti Brebes, Jawa Tengah.

"Public usually buy up over fears running out of stock or the price goes up while the supply is adequate, it is due to psychological factors," said Director General of Horticulture at the Ministry of Agriculture, Spudnik Sujono here on Saturday morning (6/13).

Mr. Sujono as director general who replaced Ibrahim Hasanuddin was in the wholesale market related the red onion cheap market, a collaborative program of the Indonesian Agriculture Ministry and National Logistics Agency, locally known as the Bulog.

According to him, the program is to overcome price disparities in the market with the selling price of farmers in production centers such as Brebes, Central Java.
