Kalau importir kecil ya jangan ngajuin kuota gede dong," paparnya.

Jakarta (B2B) - Licensing one stop to imports of horticultural products does not have to establish new institutions. The Ministry of Agriculture the authority to set quotas horticulture should not be lost and the Ministry of Commerce continues to support the process of regulation the import of fruits and vegetables.

Deputy Trade Minister Bayu Krisnamurthi proposes the development of registration and licensing process online via the internet.

"One stop was the point made by the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Trade together. We apply IT to reduce the interaction between the applicant and licensors. Later all web-based, linked directly to the surveyor of the Succofindo," said Bayu at his office, Wednesday (2/4).

Permitting process through the Internet, said Bayu, besides cost less too fast and practical and takes place transparently. Therefore, all of the licensing process can be monitored via the internet the other party. This process will run a maximum of two months. "May have to clear," he said.

He added that the Ministry of Trade is also willing to assess re-registered importer (IT), which became the basis of the provision of Horticultural Products Import Recommendation (RIPH) of the Ministry of Agriculture.

"We will re-assess IT, if they not feasible so we can pull their business license. Smaller importers if ya do not ask the quota," he said.
