Jakarta (B2B) - President of FIFA, Sepp Blatter, states that countries in Asia fully support PSSI not to be sanctioned. FIFA will also endorse PSSI as its official member.

“FIFA is concerned about PSSI congress in Palangkaraya. They do not understand why a formal institution is treated that way. Moreover, the delegation that it sent to be reviewer also attended the meeting in Palangkaraya,” said Chair of PSSI, Djohar Arifin, as quoted by Public Relations of PSSI.

Previously it was reported that Djohar was in Tokyo to lobby President of FIFA on Thursday morning and he successfully talked to Sepp Blatter.

After the meeting, Djohar continued, the delegation also met President of UEFA, Michel Platini. The result is satisfying because the former soccer star from France then promises to help Indonesia in FIFA Exco meeting on Friday (14/12) to avoid sanctions from FIFA.
