Jakarta (B2B) - Pemerintah mengeluarkan 11 komoditas dari daftar produk hortikultura yang selama ini dibatasi impornya, sehingga produk tersebut boleh masuk dalam jumlah berapa pun.
Sebelas produk hortikultura yang dibebaskan dari pengenaan kuota antara lain bawang putih, bubuk bawang putih, kubis, jus buah, cabai kering, anggrek, krisan dan heliconia.
Direktur Impor Kementerian Perdagangan Didi Sumedi mengatakan pengaturan impor hortikultura akan lebih terbuka mengingat ada beberapa komoditas yang belum sepenuhnya mampu dipenuhi dari pasokan lokal.
Dengan dikeluarkannya 11 pos tarif (harmonized system/HS) tersebut, maka jumlah produk yang diatur impornya hanya tersisa 46 HS.

The eleven horticultural products exempted from the limitation of quota are garlic, garlic powder, cabbage, dried chili, orchid, chrysanthemum, and heliconia.
Director of Imports at the Ministry of Trade Didi Sumedi said the horticultural imports arrangement will be more open since several commodities can’t be fulfilled from domestic supplies.
With the removal of 11 tariff post (harmonized system/HS), the number of products subject to import regulation is now only 46 HS.
