Boyolali, Jawa Tengah (B2B) - Presiden RI Joko Widodo menginstruksikan Kementerian Pertanian melakukan pemetaan (mapping) untuk pengembangan Minapadi Jajar Legowo Super, teknologi budidaya padi secara terpadu berbasis cara tanam jajar legowo dengan teknologi minapadi, sebagai subsistem usaha tani padi dan ikan di lahan sawah irigasi.

"Kunci peningkatan produksi beras adalah benih unggul, saat ini rata-rata produksi padi per satu hektar lima sampai enam ton, tapi sekarang bisa meningkat hingga 11 ton, hal-hal seperti ini yang menjadi kunci untuk mencapai swasembada beras, dan ini harus terus dipetakan oleh Kementan," kata Presiden Jokowi saat melihat hasil produksi minapadi di Kabupaten Boyolali, Provinsi Jawa Tengah pada Sabtu (29/10).

Presiden menghadiri gelar teknologi pertanian di lahan 100 hektar milik petani di Desa Trayu, Kecamatan Banyudono yang dikembangkan oleh Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Balitbangtan) sekaligus menjadi puncak perhelatan Hari Pangan Sedunia (HPS) ke-36 yang dibuka oleh Menteri Pertanian RI Andi Amran Sulaiman pada Jumat (28/10).

Jokowi mengharapkan hasil uji coba tersebut harus dikembangkan di seluruh Indonesia untuk memperluas areal tanam dan mendukung peningkatan produksi padi.

"Kunci utama pada benih, dari biasanya lima sampai enam ton dan sekarang mampu 11 ton per hektar, lahan tetap satu hektar tapi hasil produksinya bisa dobel," kata Jokowi.

Presiden Jokowi menyempatkan diri melihat lahan pengembangan Minapadi Jajar Legowo Super dengan ikan nila dan lele sambil mendengarkan keterangan Mentan Amran Sulaiman didampingi Menteri Desa, Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal dan Transmigrasi Eko Putro Sanjoyo.

Di lahan uji coba tersebut ditanam varietas unggul baru padi Inpari 30, Inpari 32, dan Inpari 33 dengan sistem tanam dua banding satu, dan teknologi mina padi.

"Teknologi ini memanfaatkan benih bermutu dengan potensi hasil tinggi, biodekomposer pada saat pengolahan tanah, pupuk hayati sebagai seed treatment dan pemupukan berimbang, pengendalian organisme pengganggu tanaman secara terpadu, serta penggunaan alat mesin pertanian terutama untk tanam dan panen," kata Kepala Balitbangtan, Muhammad Syakir kepada pers di tempat yang sama.

Menurutnya, dari analisis usaha tani menunjukkan bahwa teknologi Jarwo Super sangat layak dikembangkan pada skala luas. Di sisi lain, teknologi minapadi merupakan salah satu subsistem usahatani padi dan ikan di lahan sawah irigasi, bervariasi dari satu daerah ke daerah lain bergantung pada ketersediaan air, curah hujan, bibit ikan, dan permintaan pasar.

Kepala Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Puslitbang) Tanaman Pangan, Ali Jamil menambahkan petak kegiatan minapadi di lokasi Jarwo Super berisi ikan nila merah di satu petak dan ikan lele di petak lainnya.

"Minapadi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan usaha tani dari hasil ikan maupun padi, peningkatan efisiensi dan keberlanjutan sistem budidaya melalui penggemburan tanah akibat aktifitas ikan, sementara keberlanjutan sistem produksi padi pun terjaga," kata Ali Jamil.

"The key to increased rice production is superior seeds, the average paddy production is five to six tonnes per hectare, but now can be increased up to 11 tons, the development of food technology be a determinant for rice self-sufficiency, and the ministry should immediately undertake mapping," President Widodo said after the rice harvest here on Saturday (29/10).

President Widodo attend the trial development of food technology in the paddy fields of 100 hectares in Trayu village of Banyudono subdistrict carried out by the Agricultural Research and Development of Agriculture Ministry, as the peak activity of 2016 World Food Day was opened by Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman here on Friday (28/10).

Widodo expect the trial results should be developed across the country, to support the expansion of planting, and an increase of paddy production.

"The decisive factor was the superior seed, from five to six tons could be increased to 11 tonnes per hectare, the area remains one hectare but double rice yields," he said.

President Widodo took time to review the Minapadi Jajar Legowo Super, as a subsystem agriculture and fisheries in irrigated land, he was accompanied by Minister Sulaiman and Minister of Rural Development and Transmigration Eko Putro Sanjoyo.

Agricultural Ttechnology
In field trials were planted new varieties Inpari 30 Inpari 32, and Inpari 33 with the cropping system of two to one, rice cultivation technology integrated with fisheries.

"This technology utilizes superior seeds with high production, bio decomposers when tilling the soil, biological fertilizers as the seed treatment and balanced fertilization, integrated control of plant pests, agricultural machinery for planting and harvesting," Director General of Agricultural Research and Development, Muhammad Syakir told the press here.

According to him, the results of the analysis showed that the technology should be developed on a broad scale. On the other hand, this technology is one of the subsystems of farming and fisheries in irrigated land, which varies from one region to another depending on the supply of water, rainfall, freshwater fish seedlings, and market demand.

Director of Indonesian Center for Food Crops Research and Development (ICFORD) Ali Jamil added wetland was reviewed by President Widodo contain red tilapia fish, and catfish in a separate plot.

"The breakthrough is expected to increase revenues from agriculture and aquaculture, improve efficiency, and sustainability of farming systems through tilling the soil as a result of fishing activity, and maintaining the sustainability of rice production systems," Mr Jamil said.
