Jakarta (B2B) - Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta membuka pendaftaran siswa baru sekolah negeri, tahun ajaran 2013-2014 melalui internet (online). Pendaftaran siswa baru SD, SMP, dan SMA/SMK pada 18-21 Juni 2013. Pendaftaran siswa baru ke sekolah juga online pada 22-25 Juni 2013, dan tahun ajaran baru berlangsung mulai 15 Juli 2013.
Kepala Dinas Pendidikan DKI Jakarta, Taufik Yudi mengatakan siswa baru di DKI yang ingin mendaftar ke sekolah negeri dapat mendaftarkan diri pada tiga sekolah tujuan.
"Verifikasi data siswa pada 21 Juni, khususnya data-data siswa baru yang berasal dari sekolah di luar DKI Jakarta. Maka pada prapendaftaran tersebut, kami akan memasukkan data pendaftaran siswa baru ke dalam data base calon peserta didik sekolah di DKI Jakarta," kata Taufik Yudi kepada pers di Jakarta, Sabtu (8/6).
Dia menambahkan, seleksi calon siswa baru akan memakai sistem zona. Untuk tingkat SD maka zonanya mengacu pada kelurahan, tingkat SMP mengacu pada kecamatan, dan tingkat SMA mengacu pada zona rayon yang terdiri atas tiga sampai empat kecamatan. Sementara untuk siswa baru SMK, kata Taufik, akan mengacu pada zona provinsi.
Apabila siswa baru tersebut diterima di sekolah yang dituju, calon siswa harus melapor ke sekolah tujuan. Tujuannya, untuk membuktikan bahwa calon siswa serius untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke sekolah pilihannya.
"Siswa yang tidak melapor setelah diterima di sekolah tujuan akan dianggap mengundurkan diri. Namanya akan diblokir, tidak akan masuk ke dalam data base di DKI Jakarta," ungkap Taufik.
Apabila masih ada kursi kosong, katanya lagi, maka DKI Jakarta akan membuka lagi pendaftaran calon siswa baru namun tidak berlaku bagi siswa di luar wilayah DKI Jakarta. Pendaftaran online untuk ´bangku kosong´ akan dibuka pada 6-9 Juli 2013 dan hasilnya diumumkan pada 10 Juli 2013.
"Lapor diri tanggal 11-12 Juli. Jadi tanggal 15 Juli sudah masuk pada kegiatan tahun ajaran 2013-2014," tambah Yudi.
