Jakarta (B2B) - Menjelang Pemilu 2014, Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) menerima banyak pengaduan dari masyarakat terkait dugaan korupsi yang dilakukan oknum pejabat eksekutif maupun legislatif. Para pejabat tersebut mencari uang untuk biaya pemilu dari APBN maupun APBD.
"Pengaduan melimpah karena banyak yang cari duit. Saya cek trend-nya ternyata para pejabat itu memang mencari biaya pemilu dengan korupsi keuangan negara ataupun suap di bagian perizinan," kata Wakil Ketua KPK Bambang Widjojanto, Minggu (21/4).
Karena banyak mendapat laporan itu, menurutnya, KPK sekarang banyak melakukan operasi tangkap tangan (OTT). Contoh terakhir, KPK melakukan OTT di Bogor dan menetapkan tersangka untuk sejumlah pejabat di Kabupaten Bogor karena terindikasi suap terkait perizinan.
Menurut Bambang, laporan masyarakat terkait korupsi itu lebih banyak di daerah ketimbang di pusat. Yaitu, di tingkat kabupaten/kota maupun provinsi. Namun, di level pusat juga marak.
