Jakarta (B2B) -  The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) anticipates it will take between one to six months to neutralize the impacts of provincial minimum wage (UMP) and electricity tariff increases to inflation.

Sasmito Hadi Wibowo, BPS, said the applications of policies at the start of this year, such as increases in wages, electricity tariffs and non-taxable revenue limitation provide different impacts toward inflation.

"However, the impacts are expected to be fairly insignificant," Sasmito said.
