Jakarta (B2B) - Pembangunan proyek properti secara jor-joran tanpa mempertimbangkan keseimbangan tata ruang, dituding menjadi salah satu pemicu banjir besar yang melanda Jakarta, pekan lalu.
Direktur Eksekutif The Housing Urban Development (HUD) Institute, Zulfi Syarif Koto menyatakan mendorong adanya moratorium (penghentian sementara) pembangunan proyek properti di Jakarta terutama untuk proyek komersial seperti mal dan perkantoran.
Menurutnya, Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta perlu secepatnya melakukan moratorium dan mengevaluasi kembali izin yang sudah diberikan terhadap proyek-proyek properti terutama jenis komersial yang marak dibangun developer saat ini.
"Langkah itu dianggap efektif untuk mengurangi dampak banjir di Jakarta," kata Zulfi.

According to him, the city administration needs to immediately undertake a moratorium and evaluate permits that have been given to property projects, especially for commercial projects.
"This step is considered to be effective to reduce the impacts of flooding in Jakarta," Zulfi said.
