Jakarta (B2B) - PT Pertamina (Persero) mencatat konsumsi BBM jenis premium dan solar bersubsidi meningkat cukup signifikan menjelang pengumuman resmi kenaikan harga kedua komoditas tersebut yang direncanakan pekan ini.
Vice President Corporate Communication Pertamina Ali Mundakir di Jakarta, Rabu mengatakan, dalam beberapa hari terakhir, konsumsi premium dan solar telah meningkat.
Pada Selasa (18/6), konsumsi premium naik dari kondisi normal 80.000 menjadi 90.000 kiloliter atau meningkat 12,5%. Sementara, solar naik 11,6% dari 43.000 menjadi 48.000 per hari.
Untuk realisasi penyaluran BBM premium dalam dua pekan terakhir tercatat 88.000 kiloliter dan solar 48.000 kiloliter.
"Kami sudah tingkatkan penyaluran 10 persen di atas rata-rata harian normal. Stok premium disiapkan hingga 1,76 juta kiloliter atau memenuhi kebutuhan selama 22 hari," kata Ali.
Sedangkan, solar disiapkan selama 20 hari atau 860.000 kiloliter.
"Kami pastikan ketahanan stok BBM aman. Namun demikian, kami berharap masyarakat tidak membeli BBM secara berlebihan," ujarnya.
Menurut dia, terminal BBM dan SPBU beroperasi lebih lama dibandingkan dengan hari biasa dan jika perlu sampai 24 jam untuk memastikan kebutuhan masyarakat terpenuhi.
Pertamina juga mewaspadai adanya gangguan dan hambatan pada jalur distribusi BBM bersubsidi yang dapat merugikan masyarakat.
Ia mengatakan, pihaknya telah berkoordinasi dengan aparat kepolisian dan TNI untuk pengamanan SPBU dan objek vital lainnya.
"Kami sudah membentuk Posko Satgas BBM dan LPG di kantor pusat dan daerah mulai 17 Mei hingga 30 Juni 2013 untuk memantau dan memastikan kehandalan pasokan BBM dan LPG," katanya.

On Tuesday (18/6) gasoline consumption increase from its normal 80.000 kilolitres to 90,000 kilolitres (up to 12.5 percent). While, diesel fuel up to 11.6 percent from 43,000 to 48,000 kilolitres per day.
In the last two weeks, realization of subsidized gasoline have recorded 88,000 kilolitres and 48,000 kilolitres for diesel fuel.
"We´ve enhanced the distribution of 10 percent above the normal daily average. Subsidized gasoline stock have prepared to 1.76 milion kilolitres that can fulfill the needs for 22 days," Ali explained.
Meanwhile, diesel fuel have prepared for 20 days fulfillment or 860,000 kilolitres.
"We make sure that fuel stock is safe. However, public do not buy fuel in excess," Ali hope.
Fuel terminal and retail outlets (SPBU), according to Ali, will be operate longer than normal day. And if necessary up to 24 hours to ensure the people meet their needs.
Pertamina also aware of distraction and obstacles in the path of its distribution which can be detrimental to public.
He also said, Pertamina had coordinated with police and military force to secure retail outlets and other vital objects.
"We´ve form a task force and its command post for fuel and LPG in the central and regional office-- start at May 17 until June 30, 2013-- to monitor and ensure the reliability of fuel and LPG supply," he said.
