Jakarta (B2B) - Agus Gumiwang, mantan politisi Partai Golkar mengaku telah mengerahkan 8.000 relawan yang tergabung dalam "Dulur Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla" untuk memenangkan pasangan capres-cawapres nomor urut dua itu dalam Pilpres 9 Juli 2014.
"Saya bentuk relawan sendiri yang kami sebut Dulur Jokowi-JK. Totalnya 8.000 relawan tersebar di Jawa Barat dan Banten karena di situ wilayah yang cukup penting (untuk mendulang suara)," ujar Agus Gumiwang di sela deklarasi Relawan Laskar Biji Kopi di Jakarta, Jumat (27/6).
Agus merupakan salah satu kader yang dipecat oleh DPP Partai Golkar dari keanggotaan lantaran mendukung Jokowi-JK.
Dia mengatakan, meskipun masih berusaha memperjuangkan nasibnya di Partai Golkar, namun dia tidak takut totalitasnya mendukung Jokowi-JK akan mengganggu perjuangannya itu.
"Semua masalah hukum (atas pemecatan) saya serahkan ke kuasa hukum," kata dia.
Lebih jauh Agus mengatakan meskipun relawan yang dikerahkannya bergerak secara mandiri, namun tetap melakukan koordinasi dengan tim sukses nasional Jokowi-JK.
Pada hari ini Relawan Jakarta Baru, selaku simpatisan pendukung Joko Widodo (Jokowi) kala mencalonkan diri sebagai Gubernur DKI Jakarta beberapa tahun silam, menegaskan dukungannya kepada Jokowi-JK dalam Pilpres 2014 dan akan bertransformasi menjadi Relawan Laskar Biji Kopi.
Pilpres 9 Juli 2014 diikuti dua pasang calon presiden dan calon wakil presiden, yakni Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa dan Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla. (Ant)
Jakarta (B2B) - Former Golkar Party politician Agus Gumiwang has said that he will mobilize 8,000 volunteers to support the Jokowi-JK duo during the presidential election on July 9.
"I, by myself, have formed a group of volunteers called Dulur Jokowi-JK (brothers of Jokowi-JK) totaling 8,000, spread across West Java and Banten provinces, which are important sources of votes," he said on the sidelines of the declaration of "Laskar Biji Kopi" (Coffee Bean Front) to support the Jokowi-JK pair.
Agus was one of the Golkar Party cadres who was discharged for supporting the Jokowi-JK duo instead of the Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa pair that Golkar supports.
He noted that although he was still fighting for the restoration of his membership in Golkar Party, he was not afraid his totality in supporting the Jokowi-JK pair will lessen his fight.
"I have referred the legal settlement of the issue to my lawyer," he said.
He added that although the group of volunteers he had formed will rally by themselves, they will keep coordinating with the Jokowi-JK national campaign.
On Friday the Relawan Jakarta Baru, the group of volunteers supporting Jokowi when he ran for Jakarta governorship, reaffirmed its support to the Jokowi-JK duo in the 2014 election and will transform itself into the Laskar Biji Kopi.
"Earlier, we were rumored to have supported Prabowo-Hatta pair after being disappointed over Jokowis decision to run for president. But today representatives of around 15,000 Relawan Jakarta Baru members have declared their support to Jokowi," coordinator Yustian FM stated in the declaration.
Yustian said after meeting with all the volunteers several times they had agreed to support Jokowi in the presidential election 2014.
He said more than 80 percent of the volunteers have rejoined and were ready to transform into Laskar Biji Kopi.
