Transformasi Komprehensif, Presiden Jokowi Dorong Kejaksaan Tingkatkan Kepercayaan Publik
President Jokowi Encourages Public Prosecutor´s Office to Increase Public Trust

JAKARTA - Presiden RI Joko Widodo [Jokowi] memimpin Upacara Peringatan Hari Bhakti Adhyaksa Ke-63, di Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan [Badiklat] Kejaksaan Agung, di Jakarta, Sabtu [22/7].
Pada kesempatan itu, Presiden Jokowi meminta jajaran Kejaksaaan Agung RI untuk melakukan transformasi komprehensif dari pusat hingga ke daerah sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan publik.
“Kepercayaan publik ini harus dipertahankan serta diperbaiki dengan kinerja yang semakin baik, dengan kerja-kerja yang sistematis dan terlembaga, dengan melakukan transformasi yang terencana, yang komprehensif dari pusat sampai ke daerah,” ujar Jokowi.
Jokowi mengaku senang karena kepercayaan publik terhadap Kejaksaan terus meningkat, dari 75,3 persen pada Agustus 2022 menjadi 81,2 persen pada Juli 2023.
“Saya ingin mengucapkan selamat. Namun hati-hati, mempertahankan, meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat itu tidak gampang. Jangan cepat berpuas diri, kepercayaan masyarakat ini harus dipertahankan, kepercayaan masyarakat ini harus ditingkatkan,” ucapnya.
Jokowi menambahkan, kepercayaan publik yang tinggi itu menjadi modal penting Kejaksaan untuk melakukan transformasi serta menggerakkan reformasi Kejaksaan di semua aspek dan tingkatan. Presiden pun meminta Kejaksaan untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas, profesionalitas, dan integritas sumber daya manusia (SDM),
“Tingkatkan kualitas SDM melalui perekrutan jaksa yang selektif, melalui pelatihan yang intensif. Tingkatkan standar etika, profesionalisme, dan integritas jaksa. Tingkatkan terus efektivitas kerja, optimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Permudah akses masyarakat pada pelayanan hukum, tingkatkan keterbukaan informasi, serta responsif menangani laporan-laporan masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut Jokowi meminta untuk terus meningkatkan akuntabilitas an memperbaiki pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Pesan tersebut juga ditujukan Presiden kepada semua aparat penegak hukum, termasuk Polri, Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK), serta pengawas dan auditor baik di tingkat pusat maupun di daerah.
“Jangan ada lagi aparat Kejaksaan, meskipun saya tahu ini oknum, yang mempermainkan hukum, yang menitip rekanan proyek, yang menitip barang impor, dan berbagai tindakan tidak terpuji lainnya,” tandasnya.

On that occasion, President Jokowi asked the ranks of the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia to carry out a comprehensive transformation from the center to the regions so as to increase public trust.
"This public trust must be maintained and repaired with better performance, with systematic and institutionalized work, by carrying out a planned, comprehensive transformation from the center to the regions," said Jokowi.
Jokowi said he was happy because the public's trust in the Attorney General's Office continued to increase, from 75.3 percent in August 2022 to 81.2 percent in July 2023.
“I want to say congratulations. But be careful, maintaining and increasing public trust is not easy. Don't be complacent, this public trust must be maintained, this public trust must be increased," he said.
Jokowi added that high public trust is an important capital for the Attorney General's Office to carry out transformations and drive Attorney reform at all aspects and levels. The President also asked the Attorney General's Office to continue to improve the quality, professionalism and integrity of human resources (HR).
“Improve the quality of human resources through the selective recruitment of prosecutors, through intensive training. Raise the ethical standards, professionalism and integrity of prosecutors. Continue to improve work effectiveness, optimize the use of information technology. Facilitate public access to legal services, increase information disclosure, and be responsive in handling public reports," he said.
Jokowi further asked to continue to increase accountability and improve services to the community. The message was also addressed by the President to all law enforcement officials, including the National Police, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), as well as supervisors and auditors at both the central and regional levels.
"There should be no more Attorney officials, although I know these are individuals who play with the law, entrust project partners, entrust imported goods, and various other dishonorable actions," he said.
