Malang (B2B) - Tudingan politisi Partai Demokrat, Sutan Bhatoegana yang menyebut Presiden RI keempat Abdurahman Wahid alias Gus Dur terlibat korupsi, berbuntut panjang. Pergerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia (PMII) menuntut Demokrat meminta maaf terkait pernyataan Sutan yang dinilai melecehkan Gus Dur.
Tuntutan ratusan anggota PMII yang sebagian besar dari Komisariat Universitas Islam Malang (Unisma), itu diwujudkan dalam bentuk unjuk rasa di gedung DPRD Kota Malang, Senin (26/11). Sutan belum lama ini mengeluarkan pernyataan Gus Dur lengser dari kursi presiden karena terlibat skandal korupsi Buloggate dan Bruneigate.
"Pernyataan itu telah menyakiti hati warga Nahdliyin, sebab secara hukum Gus Dur tidak terbukti menerima aliran dana Bulog maupun Brunei," tegas koordinator lapangan unjuk rasa PMII, M Hadi di sela-sela aksi di gedung DPRD kota itu.
Hadi menilai tuduhan Sutan sudah melampaui batas. Menurutnya tudingan Sutan merupakan cara keji Sutan untuk melindungi pemerintahan saat ini.
Karenanya, Hadi menyatakan pihaknya menuntut agar Partai Demokrat meminta maaf pada kaum Nahdliyin dan warga Indonesia terkait pernyataan tersebut. Pihaknya juga meminta Sutan mendapat sanksi.

The demand by hundreds of members of the movement, mostly from Commissariat of Islam Malang University (Unisma), was proposed in a rally of protest in DPRD office of Malang, on Monday (26/11). Sutan recently stated that Gus Dur quit his office due to being involved in Buloggate and Bruneigate corruption scandals.
“The statement hurts Nahdliyin people because legally Gus Dur was not guilty of receiving Brunei or Blog funds,” said coordinator of the rally, M Hadi, in the rally.
Hadi assumes that Sutan has crossed the line. He thinks that the accusation is Sutan’s vile way to protect the current government.
Thus, Hadi states that his group demands Democrat Party to apologize to Nahdliyin people and Indonesian society for the statement. He also wants Sutan to be punished.
