Jakarta (B2B) - Pelaku usaha properti mulai merasakan dampak dari kenaikan uang muka Kredit Pemilikan Rumah (KPR) menjadi minimal 30% yang diterapkan Bank Indonesia.
Penurunan penjualan paling dirasakan pengembang hunian, baik rumah tapak maupun apartemen di kelas menengah.
Ketua Umum Persatuan Perusahaan Real Estat Indonesia (REI) Setyo Maharso mengatakan penerapan aturan uang muka KPR sebesar 30% untuk rumah tipe 70 ke atas sejak Maret 2012 sudah mulai berdampak pada penurunan penjualan di segmen menengah.
"Penurunan bukan karena permintaan yang berkurang, namun akibat konsumen menunda pembelian untuk menyiapkan uang muka," kata Setyo Maharso.

Setyo Maharso, Chairman of the Association of Real Estate Indonesia (REI) said the housing loan down payment regulation for houses type 70 or larger, commencing in March 2012, has begun to register impact on sales in the middle-class segment.
"The decline is not due to lower demand, but due to delay in purchase by customers," Setyo Maharso said.
