Presiden Jokowi Ajak Masyarakat Mozambik Menghargai Keragaman Budaya

Jakarta [B2B] - Presiden RI Joko Widodo [Jokowi] mengajak masyarakat Mozambik untuk saling menghargai keberagaman budaya yang ada serta menjadikan perbedaan menjadi sebuah kekuatan untuk mempersatukan bangsa.
Hal ini disampaikan Jokowi saat menghadiri undangan Presiden Republik Mozambik Filipe Nyusi dalam acara pembukaan Festival Budaya Nasional 2023 atau National Festival of Culture Mozambik yang digelar di Lapangan Asosiasi Black Bulls, Maputo, Republik Mozambik, pada Rabu [23/8].
"Mari kita gunakan keberagaman budaya ini untuk mempersatukan kita, mari kita gunakan keberagaman budaya ini untuk memperkuat kerja sama antara rakyat kita," ucapnya di hadapan masyarakat Mozambik.
Seperti Mozambik, Jokowi juga menyebut bahwa Indonesia merupakan rumah dari keberagaman budaya dimana masyarakatnya saling menghargai perbedaan yang ada.
"Indonesia juga merupakan rumah dari keberagaman budaya, kita menghargai perbedaan, kita menghargai setiap kebudayaan yang ada di masyarakat," tandasnya.
Sebelumnya, Jokowi mengungkapkan bahwa kunjungan perdananya ke Mozambik menjadi lebih istimewa karena dapat menghadiri acara kebudayaan nasional tersebut.
"Ini merupakan sebuah kehormatan bagi saya diundang dalam acara kebudayaan nasional, ini menjadi kunjungan saya ke Mozambik menjadi lebih spesial," ucap Presiden di hadapan masyarakat Mozambik.
Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Presiden Nyusi juga menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Presiden Jokowi atas kunjungannya ke Mozambik.
"Saya ingin berterima kasih kepada sahabat saya, yang terhormat Presiden Republik Indonesia yang telah datang mengunjungi Mozambik," ucap Presiden Nyusi.

This was conveyed by Jokowi while attending the invitation of the President of the Republic of Mozambique Filipe Nyusi at the opening ceremony of the 2023 National Festival of Culture or Mozambique National Festival of Culture which was held at the Black Bulls Association Field, Maputo, Republic of Mozambique, on Wednesday [23/8].
"Let´s use this cultural diversity to unite us, let´s use this cultural diversity to strengthen cooperation between our peoples," he said before the people of Mozambique.
Like Mozambique, Jokowi also said that Indonesia is a home of cultural diversity where people respect each other´s differences.
"Indonesia is also the home of cultural diversity, we respect differences, we respect every culture in society," he said.
Previously, Jokowi revealed that his first visit to Mozambique was even more special because he could attend this national cultural event.
"It is an honor for me to be invited to a national cultural event, this makes my visit to Mozambique even more special," the President said before the people of Mozambique.
On the same occasion, President Nyusi also expressed his appreciation to President Jokowi for his visit to Mozambique.
"I want to thank my friend, the esteemed President of the Republic of Indonesia, who has come to visit Mozambique," said President Nyusi.
