Jakarta (B2B) - Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) akan menghapus Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) Nomor 47 tahun 2004 yang mengatur tentang biaya administrasi pencatatan nikah dan cerai, sehingga biaya nikah di Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) dihapus. Langkah tersebut juga untuk memberantas maraknya pungutan liar dan pemberian gratifikasi kepada penghulu.
"Langkah penghapusan PP Nomor 47 tahun 2004 adalah goodwill (kemauan baik, red) dari pemerintah bagi masyarakat," kata Inspektur Jenderal Kemenag M Jasin, Rabu (6/3).
Menurut M Jasin, yang juga mantan Wakil Ketua KPK, langkah tersebut sebagai tindakan preventif untuk memberantas maraknya pungutan liar dan pemberian gratifikasi kepada penghulu.
"Kalau ketentuan itu diberlakukan, maka amplop-amplop untuk tanda terima kasih kepada penghulu dilarang," ungkap M Jasin.
